I know. The hard part (at least for me) with the Blitz's is when they turn red and go into fullpower mode. And then especially when he sweeps the area like 10 times with his laserbeam.

And holy water, while being expensive, seems like a cheap tactic :D

I have never used Holy Water in a DMC game. This isn't Castlevania, man.

I just got to the part where you use dante, not played as dante yet because i haven't played since nero got punked out.

Did you guys get the newest update? It's gotta be rigged on what they're doing nothing in the update whatsoever besides improved connection on gaming. Three months for nothing.

Well it wasn't an update, it was a patch. Obviously there was nothing wrong with the game if barely anything got fixed, so that's a good thing.

EDIT: Unless you're talking about a system/firmware update of some sort? I assumed you were talking about DMC4, since you didn't make a new paragraph about the update.

He is talking about the new update. It is just to mainly fix those with the "downloading game settings" error in cod4.

Your kidding fall? At first they said it would be in early 07 then late 07, after words early 08, but now I'm hearing they've delayed it even further to late 08. I've come to the conclusion that home will never come out.

What do you mean? I've been looking forward to Home since before I got my PS3. So yeah, I wish they'd come out with it already. Meh, with all the delays on it and MGS4 though, I'm not holding my breath. I swear, if they push MGS4 back one more time... Heh, who am I kidding, I'll just continue to wait for it.

there is no need to protest. Sony is listening to its loyal fans, its just that it is taking them time to figure out how to intergrate everything with Home and the XMB. Something like this can be very buggy, think about it. Take xbox live's gamertag and points, but create a visual moving 3d avatar, instead of just seeing the points list we see actual images of and trophies of your accomplishments. Home will be awesome, just wait it out.

However word is out that Home might come out as soon as summer.

Also if you think you are bored with your ps3, then you seriously need to buy some PSN games. I advise you get PixelJunk's Monsters (tower defense game, that has a two player option), Super Stardust HD, or Everyday Shooter.

Also, on that note, if you've never played Castlevania: Symphony of the Night...I suppose I'll be forced to ask you, "WTF!?" Heh, but no, seriously, it's an awesome game, and you can purchase it on the PSN. So check it out if you haven't played it before, I highly recommend it.

have to use a credit card for now, the PSN cards should be coming out pretty soon, maybe a summer release, but dont count me for it.

all the games i mentioned are no more than 10 bucks a piece, some might be cheaper, but each one is worth it.

But honestly, why buy the psn card? just use your credit card, i mean, the whole point of PSN games are so that you dont have to leave your place to buy them. Now if your problem is the fact that you dont have your own credit card... then give ten bucks to your parents when you use it.

No I have a credit card, I might use it for games on the psn but I called sony and they said you could get a virus from downloading stuff. Hence your information won't be too safe.

are you sure about that? it is sony's own network, them allowing virus would be childish. Plus a virus on a PS3? are you sure you arent pulling this out of your ass? I mean all the major video game blogs and x360 fans would be all over this.

Maybe they meant if you DL something foreign from a random website, while using the internet browser, cuz I seriously doubt you're going to get a virus from the Playstation Store. *shrugs*

Yeah, I guess that's prolly true too. I haven't really done a lot of DL'ing with the PS3.

I don't like using picture backgrounds too much, because I feel like it makes it harder to see everything on the XMB and read the text. It doesn't make it that much harder, but enough for me to just prefer setting it to the normal wispy background and setting the color to green. I am using the GoW theme icons right now though. I've definitely done plenty of PS3 related DL'ing, like themes, demos, and games and the such, but not much more beyond that.

some people have made some pretty kick ass themes where the icons and wording isnt hidden because of the background. Currently have a Lost season 4 theme up where each section is a person's face. all other icons are the orginal.
