Ryu looks stupid. And they made every character look roided-out, even Chung-Li.

Also, not to ressurrect the argument, but at least from these screens it certainly appears to play like a side-scrolling 2-D fighter. Where/when/how do these hotly contested 3-D elements factor into play?

BTW, I still think Pit-Fighter was the best fighting game ever.

Honestly, I can't say I'm disappointed that the argument between MadDog & Femto is over. It was kind of boring actually. Too much crap and not enough mud throwing, heh.

Once SFIV comes out, all future disputes shall be settle via online ass-whoopin. Winner takes all, might makes right, to the victor goes the spoils, etc.

Yeah, it's very rare that they venture into those waters, but it's been done before with Phantasy Star Universe (cross platform with PS2 and PC, Xbox was left out) and FFXI (PS2, PC and Xbox 360). I'm sure there are more games who've tried it, but you get the point.

I have a friend who was on ranked like 30 or something on all xbox live in CVS2. I used to watch the games he played. They can get pretty got-damn serious. Tho the lag sometimes became an issue.

Bring on 2 Super Turbo characters, two 3rd Strike characters (motherfucking Alex!) and two new characters plus a couple bosses (new or old, don't care) and I'll be happy as pie.

Of course, there could also be an extra row with four other characters so who knows?

I think 16 characters is a nice number for a Street Fighter game though.

I don't want a gazillion characters like MvC2 or CvS2.

My prediction's just based on Ono's previous statement that all the Street Fighter 2 characters would be returning. He may have been only talking about the non-boss characters, so who knows. I'd love to see Dudley in the mix. Alex would be cool, but with Abel looking like the go to hybrid throw character, I don't know how much sense it would make to have Alex in as well. If that interview halfnhalf posted is on the true, we'll need to fly to those Japanese location tests to get our boys in.

I'd like to see Balrog only if they put Dudley in there just to see who's the blackest boxer.

Don't really care for either Vega or M. Bison.

Ono has also mentioned the possibility of new characters and stages as downloadable content so anything can happen really.

On another note, Kotaku interviewed Ono and he had this interesting bit to say about Crimson Viper being a Capcom USA request.

He said that they wanted a "cool, sexy" character in the game and Viper was Capcom Japan's answer to that request.

Abel is a Capcom Japan character through and through.

I guess Capcom USA should just keep their fucking mouths shut in the future.

HAha.....My bad. There was this cute little chick named Cammy who was passed around my fratertinty back in the day, and in time she took on the name Scammy for her mal exploits.
