Currently Watching?

The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

IDK, but they look like machines. Whether they're alive or not, I always thought they were mechanical in nature.

Hmm, well they do look mechanical.
But I always got the feeling they were underlings for the Earl.
If my memory isnt totally fried here I recall the Earl made the Noahs as well, then they also must be machines?
I am currently watching Hunter X Hunter. Its old but good. Makes me feel like a kid once again.

I finished watching Texhnolyze like a week ago. The ending was so incredibly sad I spent the entire weekend depressed.
Why did Ichise have to die? He was the last hope of humanity! He was the next step in our evolution, he had effectively incorporated the texhnolyze parts into his body and he had the most important thing of all: the will to live. But he was too late, he couldn't save Ran. He couldnt save anyone. He died alone, forgotten in a dark alley.......just as predicted. Dammit....why? why? WHY?
Just finished watching Cowboy Bebop.
I can see why people are calling it the best anime ever made now. I totally agree with them.

Finished Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann a few weeks ago, too. Awesome show.
That one's gonna be remembered for ages, just like Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Started watching Darker Than Black, Wolf & Spice, and Black Lagoon last week as well.[gvideo][/gvideo]

Because the earth will destroy itself it humanity doesn't change. Just like shown in Texhnolyze. That's why it is such an amazing piece of art.

I'm watching Moyashimon. I like it. It's sort of like Genshiken mixed with Mushishi..but with microbes/bacteria/science instead of anime/manga/otakuness.

I havent watched a new anime since mid 2007. I was wondering which are the best animes of the last two seasons. Summer/fall/spring 07-08 ?

I have been only watching old anime like original Macross.

Major has begun once more Libaax.
Darker then Black was pretty good.
Tengen-Toppa Gurren Lagann (Or what its name) was also good once you came over the fact that the Mechs were ugly as f**k :P
Claymore was good in the middle, ended a little disapointing.

Currently Im watching Clannad, Gintama, Kekkaishi, Naruto, Bleach and Major.
Might be one or two Ive forgotten.

Finally got my hands on Black Lagoon so when I get some time I will dive right into it :P

Hehe no kidding about Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann i saw the mechas and thought wow so ugly ! Claymore was the last new anime i enjoyed. Reading the manga right now. Despite the ending. I liked many of the characters like Teresa,Clare,Miria etc

It was to me a light Berserk in a good way :)

Have to check out what Darker Than Black is and watch Major again.

Claymore was a tad like Berserk.
But in the end they ruined it, where should I begin to read if I want to read the manga?
Is it completly different from the anime so I can read from the beginning?

You definetly need to start watching Major again, damn good show :D

Oh Forgot, you should check out Heroic Age. It was pretty cool

Im on in vol 1 so far of Claymore so i dont know yet where the story is manga only. I have already seen different things in the early chapters that wasnt in the anime. Things they cut out. But 80% of the erly chapters are the same as in the anime

Plus the manga looks alot better than i thought after seein the manga. Usually manga look better but not this much difference. Clare's face, body looks more badass, tougher than the skinny as stick girl of the anime. I would recommend from the start but if you dont want that ask the manga readers who have read all the realesed chapters of the manga.

Major is huge fav of mine, i have enjoyed it for years :) Only Hajime No Ippo i think is better sport anime/manga.

I guess I´ll read the manga from the beginning, might as well.
You never know if there is some small thing you might miss :)
Hajime No Ippo is a kicka** manga.
Although I never got ahold of one volume of it so had to drop it (Have never seen the anime) around Volume 68-72 if my memory serves me right.
Has the manga been completed or its still going strong?

Manga is on vol 80 something, i havent read it in many chapters. Have been saving to read a couple of vols at once.

Anime you would enjoy, its my alltime favorit anime along with FMA. Not because the manga is my favorit manga but cause the anime is the only anime as good as its manga.
