Changed my avatar and signature. I'm not sure on the avatar thouth, kinda bites colors with the sig, so I'll be looking for something more... greenish and less purple... on the next days though.

I was actually addicted to MTG for a year and went to tournaments every Friday.
It didn't help that there was a game shop next door. Luckily I got pissed and sold off my entire collection, thus
severing that corrupt umbilical cord that was pumping poison into my brain.
It's too fcking expensive. Now I get a visceral chill whenever MTG comes up.
That and baseball cards. Fck I hate baseball.

Well I only play multiplayer magic with my friends. Never been to a tournament or official magic shop. And because of sites like magiccards.info where you can print out proxies of all cards available, we don't have to spend a single dollar on cards, and still play with every card available since the 10 or so years magic has been out. And when you don't have to spend all the hard earned money on rare cards for your deck, magic is an extremly enjoyable game.

That's like asking what is the difference between a fish and a lizard.

Kirin are more 'gentle' creatures, they only appear in the lands that are prosperous and rule by a wise and great leader, and usually accompanied by a sage guy. Although their body is on fire, no blade of glass is burnt on trampled by its hooves when it is walking. Kirin only attacks if a man of pure heart is threatened by evil or whatever. Those are the things I can pick out of a hat at this point.

While dragons and Kirins are mystical in nature, kirins are mostly harmless, I guess.

Bullshit, my friend got attacked by a Kirin once. Those fuckers are viscious.
