I hope it ends in the next chapter (probably will). I mean Sasuke had to see that was a "Clay copy". I mean Itachi would have *rolls eyes*.

No one has ever been able to tell a clay clone from the real guy in situations like this, this was one of the few things that Kishimoto managed to keep consistent.

On that note, this has been one of the best fight in Naruto lately, Sasuke is far from the "God" that the moronic Naruto fanbase makes him out to be.

hmm got me there. Though he did seem to pull off the V for vendetta move pretty well. "I killed you five minutes ago in your sleep". He surely isn't Itachi but that doesn't mean he can't be just as dangerous.

I just read the latest chapter. Looks like Deidara is going to pull off a big one, but Sasuke will survive some how. That battle will then be over.

I'm thinking Sakura might be Sasuke's next encounter, because in some previous chapters, Pakkun, who is with Sakura, mentioned something about Sasuke not being too far away and I think they were closing in on him.

It´pretty obvious that neither Tobi or Sasuke died from that explosion....but i damn well expect some debilitation on Sasuke with this fucking nuclear explosion.

And Deidara?

I used to like him alot less when he was first introduced and fought a shit load of people left and right, now that he was so desperate in these last chapters and borderline insane in this last one, i find him more likable.

And his death was very fitting to his character, in a pretty original way might i had, with a sealed mouth in his heart and with good art to top it off.

Too bad it was so predictable.

Well, supposedly he blew himself up. However, I ended up liking him more from this fight as well. Sasuke should at least end up loosing an arm or something from a blast that big, but he'll probably make it out without a scratch. *scoff*

This was pretty different from the other situations, Deidara was not sound of mind when he exploded himself this time, his obsession with beating a Sharingan user and his speech about his own death being his artistic master piece all pointed to a suicide attack.

And this time, he didn´t just swelled and exploded, he had to use clay on that sealed mouth in his heart.

He´s pretty dead.

Well I'm leaving the door open for when he does turn up alive. I won't be as pissed as I would be.

Something like: "One of my greatest creations a fake death by my beautifully created C9000 bomb clone combined with CC999999999999999 clay" etc..

Yeah please be dead.

So this would make it... 2 immortals dead, one man that can kill an entire kingdom dead (by sakura and an old women for fucks sake) one guy that was able to destroy gara with no apparent problem dead, oh and off course orichimaru dead. So... any one feels huge waves of disappointment?
I have to say I liked the show up until the time skip, the suska chase was one of my favorite arcs (other then the last fight) but seriously this is ridicules in the time skip it seams every character became ridiculously powerful and yes I get it that was the point but am I the only one that thinks he sort of gone over the top? Especially with suske.
he went from character that had problems taking down high level junin to guys that can take akatsukis in one on one fights, maybe they're low level akatsuki maybe the only strong ones are itachy and the leader but still... this hole things leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, I really hope this show improves, plot wise and fight wise but the real problem now is that they lack good villains I mean I can already see suske doing something like killing half of akatsuki to get to itachy or naruto doing the same to get to the leader so that really makes me look down at the villains, oh and orochimaru deserved better, much better killed by fucking suske with no apparent effort and a fucking flashback to a sad childhood, retarded shit if you ask me.

I can't really say I concur with your feelings. Well, we now know that Sasuke is stronger than Gaara. Hell, he's probably one of the strongest people in the entire story at this point, which is a little disappointing, I guess. I'm fine with how things have happened so far though. I'd rather Sasuke defeat Orochimaru, than the opposite. As for Sasori of the Red Sands, his doom came from the fact that he was fighting against his grandmother. Deep down inside, I don't think he wanted to kill her. It didn't help that she knew his techniques better than anyone else. Sakura definitely couldn't haven't done it without her. Anyway, I'm sorry your disappointed, but I can kind of understand, even if I don't feel the same.

The stuff between the end of the Ichibi Arc, and the beginning of the Hidan and Kakuzu bit, was absolutely atrocious. That whole "Naruto has jumped the shark" thing was really horrible, and the only thing I really hold against the series. I'm glad to see it finally got back on track. At least things are actually happening again, now. Though, if I had been the writer, Choji really WOULD have died. Not that I dont' like him, the opposite in fact, it's just how the scene was done. It really made your feel sad he was dying. I felt jipped when he was still alive, as if my emotions had been toyed with, heh. *shrugs*

There are some shots floating around that supposedly in chapter 363, the leader and the female Akatsuki member are revealed.

I do hope this latest battle between Deidara and Sasuke is over. Time to move on.

Wait, who's a female? The leader of Akatsuki's got to be a dude. He's definitely got a deep voice...and he's not in the form of a cat, so I'm pretty sure it's a dude. :P

Wow, this chapter was awesome, Sasuke escaped in a believable (For Naruto at least) and original way.

And Pain, the Akatsuki leader is revelead just in the end of the chapter.

But the bomb was that the conversation he had with the shadowed person seems to imply that he's the leader by virtue of this other person. Saying failure "won't be tolerated" kind of says to me, "You fuck up, i replace you. You're expendable."

I loved it.

Sucks for Manda though, i really liked that Summon compared to the lame Slug and Toad.

And Starnum i disagree with your opinion about Sasuke but i won´t be saying why right now, it´s damn late and i´m sick and tired of typing that old button all over again.

Yeah, this chapter was good. I'm probably one of the few, but I was glad to see that Sasuke survived. I was sure he would. After all, he has to defeat Itachi yet. I can't see that Kishimoto would bring his character so far only to snuff it out before he does the deed.

I noticed the same thing you did, Deathbringer, that it looked like the person who was thought to be the leader also answers to someone higher up. This story just keeps getting more intriguing.

Why was tobi even created in the manga if all he did was die? He didn't even use any of his powers.

Heh, very interesting chapter. Also, Sasuke admits Orochimaru was in a weakened state when he defeated him, so maybe I'm giving him more credit than he's worth. Though he does seem very powerful these days, and heh, that was a rather cunning way for him to escape. It's crazy that Manda died, I think it's cool though, cuz it shows the extent of what Sasuke had to do, and just how close he came to bitting it himself, heh. Pain looked pretty interesting, and it was just great to finally see some deeper development into the inner workings of Akatsuki.
