Re: Find the Berserk connections (Symbolism thread)
Being an audiophile, I was flipping through my progressive rock and hit upon a favorite.. and something was oddly familiar. Miura might have been a fan! The titular track is fantastic btw, wonderful imagery and vocals by Greg Lake (of Emerson, Lake and Palmer) http://api.ning.com/files/K6JV8Ctj*j6G9...
Re: Fan Art
Dude Lassoing all that would take for ever well for me atleast, but sounds like a good Idea... I will keep that in mind when I color his massively scared body  Just lasso around everything, you don't even have to zoom in, then nudge it one space right then left to get the selection and it will...
Re: Fan Art
Great job EvilD... got to love the clouds hey buuhan1 awesome sig and AV I like Pucks aura... not traditional but I like it Here is the reason why it is taking Miura so long to get out a chapter... I couldnt imagine drawing Guts all fucked up like he is... this was a challenge to color and I didnt ...

I like Xellos a bit more, he's more dynamic. Xellos is the Zodd of Slayers xD Ok, I'll agree with your choice of favorites (Xellos is my favorite too) but Xellos is nothing like Zodd, other than the fact that they're both powerful, and have sold their souls to become demons (this is only known abou...

Heh, Amelia is great. My favorite character is Zelgadis.
Xellos is the Zodd of Slayers xD
Re: Fan Art
I can make clouds from scratch, but with this I thought it would be neat to use a photograph and modify it to make it look like a graphic. I like how it looks, saved a bit of time as well, but I might make a scratch background later and use it instead. And in response to the other guy, I didn't chos...

Any motive for murder is crazy, though some obviously more than others. If the law weren't upheld and the guy walked free i'd be pretty pissed, but he's rotting in jail, so it's not as if there was discrimination involved beyond that crazy guy. I think Athiests are moreso overlooked and ignored than...

Re: Murdered for being an Atheist
I live in Michigan, and I sure thank god that I don't have to worry about the devil anymore! I even feel safe to go outside now knowing that the devil isn't immune to a 12-gauge.

I don't know why you felt this urge to argue about Hitler vs Bush, I don't see where this stuff came up. I just have to said that people are stupid if they don't want to talk to you unless you agree with them. I guess it's not the girl's brain you were after. Felony, the real problem is: faith-base...

maybe here's a better question. if I claim to be a democrat, but i always vote republican, what am I? Not sure what I would call that exactly, but there are lots of people my age who do it. Being a Democrat is a fashionable fad thing for American teens. If you aren't one, you will be insulted and l...

Stumbled onto this site from a link in the sig of a guy on another message board.. it is one of the saddest things i think i've ever seen. http://shop5.gospelcom.net/epages/AIGUS.storefront/en/product/30-9-178 Profiteering off faith, promoting unproven and downright false ideas, teaching people - ch...

Fair enough. Do you believe the things said on media, magazines, etc? I agree to a certain extent that you can put trust in those who are specializing in a field you are not. However, that doesn't stop you from going into that field yourself and analyze the results and testing it yourself. Peer rev...

Actually science is not subject to belief, that is the entire point. I don't believe the world is round, I know it is round, because we have a definition of what is round and I can test it myself multiple ways including spending a view thousand to go into space. Belief presupposes faith, which cann...

I believe in science and not god but I try not to be a prick about it. The real problem with that statement is that you just replaced God with science. Science is not something to believe in, if you have to believe then it isn't science. Belief and science are mutually exclusive in that regard. Sci...

It was already mentioned in the thread. Didn't notice it >.< Anyways, the arguing against 'faith' is pretty pointless. As long as it can't be disproved, people will believe it. I personally think they are all in for a big dissapointment, but that's their choice, not mine. It's in an atheist's best ...

Ok and when you can show me, in a lab, how God made the universe in 6 days and rested on the 7th - when you can verifiably find and test evidence that proves this then what? Why would god need a day to rest? Why would it take him 6 days if he is all powerful? Can god create a stone which god cannot...

My theory is that Zodd will be done in by Griffith, and give Skull Knight all the more reason to fight, having had his rival and 'friend' of sorts betrayed as such. I think Griffith's power will grow to where it will consume all, friend and foe alike, once they are no longer useful to him. Of cours...

Thats hard to say. I think Gutts is evenly matched with Zodds human form. But I dont think it will be Gutts who finishes off Zodd. If anyone it has to be Skullknight. My theory is that Zodd will be done in by Griffith, and give Skull Knight all the more reason to fight, having had his rival and 'fr...
I like it, very well done... if your using photoshop, experiment with the grass brush it looks very hair like :) I considered using a brush like that for the fur cape, but it probably wouldn't show up too much through the lineart. It's really the only thing I would consider changing on the piece th...
i would love to see a colored backround :P. or just a blank backround. it could just be me, but i dont really like the backrounds...possibly cause they remind me of a school photo backround or something Those are really easy to change up. I've just been doing the star thing for lack of a better ide...
