Its just that he wont have a goal in live anymore. The most important things in his live for the past 2-3 years is killing Griffith. What does he have to do when he finished his job and when caska is dead, which i think wont happend, he might not want to live.

What i like in Berserk is that its very dark,brutal.

Casca will die and Guts will revenge her and the hawks by killing Griffiths and crew and after that he'll commit suicide
