   Maybe not the best one, and not the longest one, but the drawing quality is top notch. Looking forward for more, although I would prefer Casca story to be pursued now.

    If volume 38 taught us anything is that a cliffhanger turning into a scene switch in the middle of the volume isn’t going to get resolved until the next volume.

    Anyhow, so it was the three northern pantheons (Aesir, Vanir, and Rokkr) fighting it out after all, ha? Weird how Guts is both the one-eyed Odin AND the wolf Fenrir… And then there’s his son and all the kabbalic stuff… Oh man Miura sure did mix it all up in the craziest way possible. 😀

    Soooo first Miura left us with a cliffhanger and a hiatus-like note last time and now there actually was a chapter but one that didn’t continue from the cliffhanger. He’s a genuine master troll.

    I’d like to say it was nice to have an update.. but an update that doesn’t even follow where we last left off, is annoying all get out. And only 11 pages?!

    I guess ol Miura is like the rest of us, playing God of war4 or something.. sure isn’t get work done in any timely manner.

    A big thanks to EG for getting the translation out to us.

    If you guys like Berserk and want something to kinda help out as well for the monster slaying.     I wouldn’t be surprised if the latest installment had been finished before the last chapter with Casca and released as filler to buy Miura some time.
