This week in fan mail...

Post by psi29a »

So we at EG are starting a new series called 'This week in fan mail...' which as you might assume we will take either the worst hate mail or the over the top fan mail and post it for all to read, perhaps with commentary as well.

Today's mail I'll lable "I <3 Femto".

EG is da bomb yo.
and thank god for once in my life i actually found (i dunno, ppl in charge ?) who talk smack like psi29a and Femto LMAO, y guys are hularious XD

i may have commited suicide if it wasn’t for you scanning Berserk (typical after-effect of the terribly short anime)

I.O.U my freakin life lol !
Mr. Ahmed,

Fortuitously your magniloquent style is, as you so eloquently put it, "da bomb yo." We at Evil Genius are certainly and unabashedly gratified that our most obsequious verbal virtuosity meets with your exacting, albeit abbreviated and unconventional, syntactic and stylistic standards.

The regrettable retardation of your own impending self-inflicted morality by our artistic endeavor aside, we graciously accept your debt of servitude and join in your lament of the unforeseen consequences of the aforementioned anime.

Love and kisses, Evil_Genius

Over at Ju-Ni, I've had to verbally tear two people apart over the last year. One person was taking a personal grudge too far and e-stalking another forum member, the other was stealing scans from Maximum7, removing their logo and submitting them as his own cleans. I could post the back and forth PMs if it fits the theme.

Yes, I do. Pages 10 and 11 were mine this week (ch282), but I usually focus my efforts on the volumes. I can clean like a fiend when I get in the zone, but unfortunately I can't read japanese. If anyone wants to help out with translations, it'd give BadKarma an easier time.

Looking at them side by side, Max7 tends to fill in and add noise to the background and other noisy spots. They also don't sharpen the picture so it's a little blurrier than Ju-Ni. Both groups have very fast and high quality cleaners. Theirs might win out in attention to detail as far as backgrounds go, but I think Ju-Ni tries to get a cleaner image. The translations are also different. I think they're going for a more direct translation, where we go for a better flow in english.

-Ksi. :P

I really can't stand their forums though. It's PG-13, at best, as well it should be, cuz it's full of narutards. *shrugs*

Personally, I feel Gaia would probably be better as an MMO than it would a forum...but I suppose it'd be just like MapleStory then. That is for a different topic tho.

Yeah, they actually ARE trying to make it into an MMO. Though it won't be anything like a real one, not sure what they're using, but it's some kind of flash player thing. Yeah, they're general forums are atrocious though.

Whoa, it changed...that's Ksi in his base form. :P

Do you mean GaiaTowns? Yeeaaah...I wouldn't call it an MMO. Tho...lesser things have been called one before.

Uh...no. It's still in production, they spoke about it in one of the announcements. They're working on a battle system and such, and had scenes of avatars being able to roam about and fight things, which would in turn drop loot. I doubt I'll really "get into it", but I'll check it out once they're done.

Oh, oh! That! Yeah, it personally looks too much like Ragnarok Online to me...just you know....less good.

Oh..whoops, think we're getting off topic here. My fault.

Whats Gaia?

And cool there peeps who scanlate mangas other then these bersekrs (though I dont read Bleach, watch it...or used to). Would be even cooler if those who do the Beck manga posted in this forum ;) Serious annoying withdrawals, being forced to wait months for a single chapter.
