To be honest, X Men Legends is very much like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance gameplay with X Men characters. I actually enjoyed X Men Legends very much because I'm a X Men fan boi, just put any of my favourite characters in a game and give it a decent gameplay and I'll be all over it like a cheap slut. I haven't got the chance to check out the second installment, and I've been told it's basically the same game, except with the brotherhood and more characters in it.

I saw it, too some days ago. It's cool, but it's to big for the psp battery standards, so it'll look a bit bad.Sandman wrote:A four gig hd for the PSP for less than a 2gig MSPD!!!! crazy and it comes with a 2x battery pack!!!

But for less?

Here 8 Euro Cent more. Better battery and a 4 gb hdd for the price of a 2gb card. Hrhr for Sony that means they have to rapidly drop their prices.
It's worth downgrading, with the MPH Downgrader there should be only a minimum chance to brick (If you do something really stupid with your PSP). I down- and upgraded for more than one time and had no problems.dos.azn wrote:by the way, what yall think? is it worth downgrading to 1.5? i wanna play roms but is the risk of system damage really that bad?

PSP w/ 1GB stick for $299 due this holiday + sales forecast:
Sony Corp. plans to sell between 2.5 million and 3 million PlayStation Portable handheld video game devices in its first North American holiday season, the head of Sony Computer Entertainment America said.
"We're going to try to double the installed base between now and the end of the year," Kaz Hirai, Sony Computer Entertainment America president and chief executive, told Reuters in a telephone interview.
Hirai said the company had sold about 2.3 million PSPs in North America as of the end of September.
About the size of a paperback, the PSP can be used as a photo viewer and also plays movies and digital music. It debuted in late March in the United States.
The company also said it would begin offering a PSP Giga Pack for $299. The PSP bundle will hit stores in time for the holidays and include various accessories such as a 1-gigabyte memory stick, which can store about 30 hours of music. Sony will continue to sell its $249 PSP Value Pack with a 32-megabyte memory stick which holds the equivalent of one to two albums of music.

Well, I got that 2.0 loader to work with teh SNES romz and I'm having a lot of fun revisiting these games. Donkey Kong Country is a fucking awesome platformer and Super Punch Out! is a lot of fun. Both of them run pretty smoothly, but I'm having trouble getting games like Yoshi's Island or even Contra 3 to run at a good framerate.
I've put some NES stuff in there and I'm having a nostalgia trip by playing Batman.
I got Quake in there too, but I don't like playing games with no sound.
I guess the bottom line is that this loader rocks.
I see myself using my PSP a lot more in the following days.

Where did you get that loader? I only know loaders that don't work in kernel mode atm. and the SNes Emu uses kernel mode.Femto wrote:Well, I got that 2.0 loader to work with teh SNES romz and I'm having a lot of fun revisiting these games.
