Nah though, the price still isn't' that bad, even for multiple installments. At least I'll have something to look forward to when I beat it. Heavenly sword was shorter than that even, if I remember correctly. Thankfully I only rented that game. It was fun and stuff, but way too short.
Was that last boss as impossible to you as it was for me sheesh.

Yes. I wanted to claw my eyes out at one point, but once I figured out his patterns I finally managed to beat him. Once you know how to beat him it's not as hard as it seems, but it took me a while to figure out just how to do it right. Once you figure it out, it's one of those things that's simpler than you think it would be, if I recall correctly. I remember thinking, "Geez, I wish I'd done that from the start."

Little big planet is amazing.

Had some friends over and we went nuts playing through each level. Its just a fun game but collecting everything is going to be a bitch. Also I think the servers are swamped right now, I can't connect what so ever.

Do yourself a favor and give it a shot. Its by far one of the most enjoyable games I have played lately. :D

LBP isn't even out in europe yet... because of some fucking some that was supposedly "religious offensive". Fuck that shit. As Penny arcade said in a comic: There is already a level in beta where you can fly a plane into the twin towers. How's that for offensive?

Damn, that's just wrong. >.>

I'm as patriotic as the next guy, but all that aside, the mass deaths of thousands of people is just not something you make light of. That's just ignorant and/(or) hateful. Besides, Allah is essentially the same God that Christians believe in, whatever you want to call "him". :?

That song debacle was plain stupid. There was nothing offensive about the song. Its not even in English! Theres nothing wrong with it. Its just quoting 2 lines from the Qur'an. Its as if someone made a song and had 2 lines about God, Buddah, Zenu(?) Long Cat, etc. Whats funny is that it looks bad that they put the song in... and now it looks bad that they changed it. Seriously, if the song was demeaning or insulting I would understand but its not. If we are going for equality as people then the song should have stayed. However I bet people heard various stories about this song and got upset, and I'm talking about from the Muslim point of view. I've also read a story from an American Islamic group saying the removal was uncalled for censorship...

Long story short, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

The song is called "Tapha Niang" from the 2006 album Boulevard de l'Independance by Grammy award-winning Malian kora player Toumani Diabaté. Sounds pretty cool eh? On the patch it got changed to an instrumental version.

In other news Resistance 2 beta. I has it! Only 1 stage and I'm afraid to play competitive as I suck at FPS but this one is changing my mind about them... I was never a big PC gamer and being left handed the control scheme was awkward for me on both console and PC. However I just recently changed the control schemes on som FPS demos and this beta. Switching the analog sticks and some buttons is helping me from running into walls while looking at the sky or ground :)

I'll go into details if anyones interested about how the beta is.

Yeah I have the r2 beta myself, it's a really good fps. People wanna down it for some unknown reason, guess it's because they can't play it. Btw how far have you gotten on cooperative play? Did you beat it yet?

Also on competitive play there's this gun that spin a small circular saw at the same time apllying heat to it. It then releases it at your enemy, if thats not fucked up on so many levels I don't know what is.

Okay, now you've lost me. You're talking about something totally different now. I wasn't talking about a song. :?

I'll prolly play Resistance 2 when I get the chance. I beat the first one, may as well try out part 2.

*Edit*

Soon, I will be playing Fallout 3. 8)

Calling all ps3 owners who got little big planet...

Did anyone pre-order the game and get the Nariko costume from heavenly sword? I got mine at gamestop and got the God of War code.
Each code can be used up to 5 times so if anyone has one I'll give you the GoW code for yours.

LBP is a great funny game, though my OCD will force me to collect everything which will take forever :(

I have to say LBP is almost as addicting as WoW. To get the best out of it you gotta play with friends though. :D

Meanwhile I'm checking out Fallout 3. It's pretty awesome so far. I didn't know exactly what to expect, but it kind of plays like Oblivion. I played through Oblivion, so this is giving me a bit of an edge for my first Fallout experience. So I'll keep at it and see how it goes.

Yeah, Fallout 3 is great. I just need to figure out how to get to the museum now. >.>

The MGO expansions are worth it, IMO. I haven't played in a while though, but I haven't forgotten about it.

Right now I'm enjoying Fallout 3 though, and I plan on checking out Wrath of the Lich King shortly after it comes out.

Sweet! I'm not that far yet. I do have a mission to go to the museum of history though. I found the museum of technology last night and got the dish to repair GNR's radio signal. Now Three Dog is spreading the good word about me. Now I'm trying to make my way down to Rivet City. I was thinking about going and standing in the Reflecting Pool in front of the Washington Monument for a while so that I could get nice and irradiated. Last time I did that I got jumped by a pack of vicious dogs, nothing I couldn't handle though. Why do I want to get over 600 rads of radiation, well its for a quest. I'm kind of worried an arm is gonna grow out of my back if I do though. I don't want to be a mutant. >.>

I rented Silent Hill: Homecoming recently and I gotta say I'm having fun on that game. Never played a Silent hill game before, scariest games in the world my ass. It's very timid compared to what I've heard, but I'll admit some parts had me jumping out of my seat looking for a teddy bear. It's quite the good game though especially when a monster comes at me from outta the blue, oh he had it coming.

Plan to get lbp tomorrow if it lives up to the hype it'll be blessed by satan himself. I saw a ton of commercials for it, and checked out the 9/11 remake. I have a friend who has it and apparently he's made only boards that kill people, like on one of em if you press down and a giant meteor comes out of the sky and kills you. Can't wait to make my porno themed board! 8)

I heard of fallout 3 being good and all but I'm still not convinced it's a good game what say you guys who have it?

fallout is fun. but honestly to me its a lie.

Fallout 3 isnt bethseda's greatest game, Morrowind still owns that title. The game is up there, but as a "fallout" game, i dono but it just feel like it. To give a perspective:

I was starting my journey of Fallout 3, two of my roommate have already put in hours into the game. Now off the back i decide that make character would always try to resolve things with words rather than fighting, as such escaping from the vault for me was not going ape shit on everyone. My roommates watch me play and start complaining about how I didnt fight in any sort of way, but its fallout right? i should be capable of doing whatever i want right? Well the way Bethseda structures their games, the choices you make doesnt really change anything, i escape without doing anything lasting. Yah you just kill everyone and what not, but i want to CHANGE everything, i want my character to move people with his voice and merit, not by his trigger finger. For some reason i just dont feel like i am capable of doing that in fallout 3.

I must say though, Fallout 3 is a great game that deserves its reviews, but honestly, bethseda needs to get rid of level scaling. With its existence, i can never become the all being great one, everyone just levels up with me, it gives me no reason to level my character. But, as a game itself, it is an expansive RPG that can give you plenty of play time.

Anyone play Siren? they have it now on the PSN for 30 bucks and its has been intriging me for awhile now...

Yeah, I plan on checking out the new Silent Hill game as soon as I finish with Fallout 3. I think F3 is an awesome game, but I never played F1 or F2, and from what I can tell, what Half says is also true. It's still a really great game with tons of shit to do though, and I just can't seem to get enough of the V.A.T.S. for some reason, lol.

demo was awesome, reviews have been giving high numbers (LIKE 9s!) I have had my eyes on VC but alas i got only the money to get two games, and LBP is one of them and the other is still up for grabs (Socom vs. VC)

Okay, so I just got a mini nuke in F3, but I don't know if I can shoot it without a Fat Boy, or whatever. Anyway, finished the survival guide, good stuff. Well actually the guide probably sucks, but quest chain completion, FTW! I've been sportin' the combat armor, haven't figured out how to use the Power Armor yet. I like to mix it up with all kinds of guns. Beating on things with the Super Sledge or the robot hand are pretty cool too.
