Alrighty, so here is the deal. I want you all to vote on what you would like the forums to look like.

There will be three options:
1) Aeolus (EG style)
2) BBtech (Mindwerks Style)
3) Neither, I have a better style and I posted about it below.

To see the differences between the layouts, goto your profile and select a "Board Style:". Thumb through the forums and get a feel for both and post your opinion. If you all can find a BETTER dark-er style feel free to post it and if we get enough feedback, we can look into it.

The result of this vote will dictate what the default style should be.

I remeber i posted some skins earler but they cost 20 bucks. They were sick looking though. If we decide to get some ill try and donate.

i like the Aeolus (EG style). its just easy on my eyes and the bbtech looks too much like The DP.


plus the EG on top looks too cool.

In any case, and just as before, I voted Aeolus.

Readability > Fancy Skins, which is just another way of saying Gameplay > Graphics.

i agree that bbtech is easier on the eyes for me. I'm used to having a darker layout overall onmy screen, I'm also used to using only a console with green or white text. *shrugs*

Oh well, at least I got to use my l33t gimp and fledgling flashMX skills to make new Mindwerks logo for bbtech theme. I suggest people try it out again.

Yes, your vote does matter. We have over 1800+ registered users, and you don't need to be registered to download Berserk so I know you registered for a reason. Let your voice be heard!

Aeolus looks so good and BBthech hurts my eyes so it was easy choice.

Fuck it, BBTech for teh win.

It's the only skin that allows me to identify the Mindwerks forums. I've seen the Zsnes forums with this skin, and it feels unnatural.

All of you with the other skins, start getting used to BBTech NOW.

BBtech is the shit. Aeolus is just too bland, and, let's face it; we mainly discuss Berserk here. Is bright blue the color of Berserk? Oh, and wasn't Aeolus teh b0rken? BBtech isn't. Hence, BBtech is better. Especially with the new Mindwerks logo at the top.

Aeolus is better than BBTech.

Aeouls is easy on my eyes and its readability is higher... In BBTech, it is harder to see the links. I think there is also a problem with the sig alignment in BBTech. Most of the time, they're placed right after the last sentence of the post, instead of the bottom of the post. Besides, I find some (not all) details of the BBTech cheap, like the leftmost post status pics and their animations.

I think you're talking about the Aeolus problem here. BBtech is the way it's supposed to be.

The difference between those two is a line, it won't allow us to save a lot (in terms of the number of posts per page).

I prefer Aeolus sig placement style as it is more distinctive.

The only thing i like about aeolus is the quick reply. Its pretty nifty... Can we get it for BBtech?

only reason why I don't have quick reply on bbtech is because it is a pain to keep updated on both layouts.

so save yourself sometime and leave it as aeolus.

Take it off of aeoulus and put it on bbtech. More people use bbtech anyways.

yep the vote is clear on the fact that BBTech is more popular

give the vote some time, so many registered users and so little votes.
