Well I'm not sure how many people here love watching Chappelle Show but I've been hooked on it since day 1 and I've been anxiously awaiting season 3 but it seems he checked into a mental facility in South Africa.

I heard he was in like a drug rehab center or something. *sigh* oh well. We'll have to wait for season 3 i guess.

I knew you'd respond Buzkashi because I figured you'd be into Chappelle. I'm sure Dave did a lot of drugs after getting that hefty 2 year, 50 million dollar contract and threw a 425k crack party like Tyrone.

Oh, this show is just priceless. One of my favorite punch lines was from the comedian guy. I forgot his name but he would just tell jokes. He made one on about Tom Cruise starring in "The Last Samurai". That shit cracked me up cause he said that Tom Hanks would star in the movie "The Last Ni*ga on Earth"

I'd have to say one of my favorite episodes was the one with Mos Def where they did the history of gang wars and Mos Def did some cracked out bird calls. Seriously, that's what people do when they smoke crack.

not to be racist, but almost every black person in showbiz smokes weed everyday. besides, it only makes chappelle funnier.

the one person who really needs to get her act together is wanda sykes, she hasn't been funny since she became famous. if you're not chris rock or dave chappelle, a comedian should never go hollywood

I'd say that isn't even close to the truth Dos.Azn, try anyone in hollywood smokes crack, does coke, smokes weed and the whole lot. It's not only black actors that do it, it's the majority of the people involved in the entertainment industry.

mrJotaan is right. Its more than just black or white. The black actors just are more open about smoking the reefer. Hell look at Paris Hilton, she is a coke head if I have every seen one, also the Olsen twins, they have probably had the straw to thier nose since htey were 13. Money + time = lots of drugs. Hell even your asian race is representing, think of guy who played Harold in harold and Kumar, you know he tokes it. Its everyone and every race, the african americans just tend to be more open about it, but that is partly because thier culture is more open about these things anyways.

Also I don't know if he woudl be in rehab, I don't think of chapelle as doing much besides smoking some pot, adn tripping on some cid. He probably does do some coke from time to time, but I doubt he does it regularly.

Man this is very bad news cause i'm a big Chappelle ever since i saw a stand up with him a couple of years ago. I watch his show but not as much as i would like.

I hope he gets trough this and gets back to his show.

how else would he beable to think of all that stuff to put on the show?? I'm pretty sure more then half the time when he is writing the script he is high...

Hopefuly this not that serious.And I hardly think he is a heavy drug addict just because of his persona,its just great material,he prolly smokes as much pot as the whole of Netherland though

I know people who don't like his show, of course I don't associate with these people as they are lamers!
