Really enjoying the attention Rickert's getting lately, I wonder if this is a transition from following Griffith and the Hawks to Rickert as a POV character. If that's the case it's a pretty cool concept. Could give Griffith and the other Lieutenants a more mysterious, awe-inspiring feel as we'd be seeing it from a normal human's perspective.

I can't f-n believe Guts has not reached Elfhelm yet! What, seriously, shit, was it back in 2005 when Elfhelm was a possibility? How can the author write a chapter and take off a couple months? Most other manga release bi-weekly! No offense, but I remember reading that Kentaro Miura likes opium, so I have a theory that he only writes chapters when he's out of his drug to get enough money to pay for his next months fix. If this is true, I hope he straightens up and finishes this manga. It feels like the story was derailed along the way somewhere and has no purpose anymore. Even once Guts reaches Elfhelm, so what? Will he finally get to fight Griffith, or will we have to wait until 2025 before that happens?

I liken Berserk's progress to Dr. Dre's Detox album. Miura's detail in his artwork makes me think that he's a perfectionist. If it's not just right he may put chapters and storylines on the backburner and shift his priorities so something more concrete, like the OVAs.

In all honesty though, who the hell really knows what the delay is?

Thats a big misconception. Somewhere along the line Miura said somewhere he was really into it. The internet got a hold of it and now everyone thinks thats all he does. Shit, Berserk had slow releases way before idolmaster came out.

I am sure Miura is preparing few chapters now that Falconia will be revealed with probably smaller breaks like and do it monthly for a while to keep things interesting. I also expect a lot of beutiful double pages to be in 334. Griffith will surely make a cameo too ,since Rickert returned with new Band of The Hawk and since he's from old one ,I suppose he might be taken to Griffith or he just might request to meet him.

began reading the awesomeness that is BERSERK a month ago. now after reading it all i feel the pain that comes with a long wait...sigh...MIURA PLEASE end my suffering :'(

Is there a timetable for the next chapter? I'm honestly about to just not pay attention to Berserk for a couple of years. Granted I'm alive in a couple of years to be able to enjoy what finally comes out.
