Frankly from what I've seen I think it's going to suck...I might be wrong, but the character design just isn't my style. If it weren't for the super deformed characters I might give this game a chance. But I would have enjoyed it way better if it would have turned out to be some kind of fighter and not some damn RPG

More of a strategy RPG I think. At least Morrigan will finally get a new sprite, even if it is a super-deformed one. It's nice to see that they've included so many characters in the game, but I would've prefered a fighter too. I don't think I'll be picking this one up, I get all the SRPG goodness I'll ever need from the Nippon Ichi games.

Yeah it's a strategy RPG. Too bad I won't be able to play it. Hope they make it like Phantom Brave or Disgaea.

Well I hope Capcom NEVER works on a 2-D fighter AGAIN. Capcom Fighting Jam was just PURE laziness. I hope namco is doing all the work for this one.

CFJ wasn't good, but the development team of that game was of around 7 people. It was set to fail from the start. I wouldn't go as far as saying that Capcom should never make a 2-D fighter, but I hope they spend more time and resources on the next one.

Yeah....I'd do some pretty crazy things for Street Fighter IV. If they told me to take a roll in a bed of fire ants for them to start development on that game....i would do it.

You know what really BURNED me up...Capcom canceling Capcom Fighting All-Stars. That game looked so heavenly. It was the first 3-D Street Fighter-esque that Capcom team members would have worked on *sniffle*. Street Fighter EX series was developed by Arika...just so no one jumps on me.

A trailer for Namco X Capcom has been released, here's the link. The password to the zip file is "cross," and it's an MP4, so I recommend using VLC Media Player to see it.

It doesn't look as bad as I expected. All characters are getting full voice-overs so that's good. Still, we can expect crappy voice-acting when/if it's released here in the US. I can only imagine how Street Fighter veterans will sound in english...

Namco x Capcom trailer looks sick, i saw it awhile back, and well that where my next 50 bucks is going.

Well since you revived it. I'm not interested in it.

The game just doesn't catch me, mainly because I'm not a real fan of either companies and the art style isn't very pretty to look at. I look at the roster of characters and think "why would i want to use her!" and so on. The battle system looks just like all other SRPG battle systems so I'm not seeing anything new. I wish it used a 3D engine fully so I could at least play more 3D SRPG's besides the dated Magnacarta(why is it one word?). Well my rant is over and I'm hungry.

I have yet to see the trailer and the link is dead. I will have an opinion on the matter at a later time.
