There has been some weird ass people in history. Lets take some time to reflect on them..

Rasputin




Rasputin was a "holy man" that was brought in by the Tsarina to cure her son who had hemophelia. He was extremely popular with the ladies. Maybe because he was part of a cult that induced in sexual orgies?

Anyways... Rasputin was pretty hard to kill. The other higher ups thought that because Nicholas II was away at war , that Rasputin was controlling the the Gov't through the Tsarina. They also thought that she might have been having an affair with him. So when when they attempted to poison him. He lived through it. Then they started stabbing him and he got away. As he was running they shot him a couple times but he was still living!! They finally bagged him and threw him into a river. When they retrieved his corpse they found water in his lungs. Which means that he died from drowning and not from the gun wounds!!?!?

Well, the truth is, he was a little weird. Did you know he was somewhat paranoid and he used to write his notes and stuff backwards? That doesn't change a thing though, weird or not, the guy was a master.

He lived somewhere around the late 1400's/early 1500's, and yeah he was awesome. Not just an excellent artist, but also an important figure in science, he seemed like a very curious guy. I was really impressed, when I heard he would dissect coprses to see the inner workings of the body and he then would sketch them out. That's impressive to me, and it shows that this guy was really seeking knowledge. I'm sure you know of the Vitruvian man also. He was indeed way ahead of his time. Too bad the church didn't let him go too far with his research.

I swear, we would be so much more advanced if the church would just stop fucking with science.

There's actually a whole lot more to that story that you haven't mentioned Buzkashi but it quite an interesting story none the less. By the way, Rasputin had the ability to use hypnosis on women, that's how he got them. Have you ever heard about the possibility that Anatasia, the youngest in the russian royal family might've survived? There's been a lot of talk over this and a couple movies have been made about this topic.

I guess I didn't explain that properly. He didn't steal corpses, that would definitely be weird. You see, the church didn't allow the dissecting of bodies for any kind of study at that time. That's why some of the line drawings before DaVinci's time didn't have the right anatomy or proportions, because the artists didn't know how things really worked. Only after the church allowed this, was it possible for artists to really understand how the body (musculature, bones, etc) works under the skin. DaVinci was one of these artists.

I guarentee that Buz has made such an impact on this forum, that in 2 years he will become the stuff of legends. Kind of like Loki the norse God. Fun to have around, trixie, and sometimes weird... but good 'ol Odin keeps him around.

Jotaan: Yes the DID think that Anastasia was alive untill recently. The story goes that when the royal family was under house arrest that one of the soldiers gaurding Anastasia fell in love with her. He then vowed that if they ever came to kill her that he would protect her. So when they made it to shoot the family he faked her death. So years and years later there were these 3 really famout women that always claimed to be Anastasia.

Recenty however they dug up the grave of Anastasia and did some DNA testing stuff( dont really no what kind of tests) and foundt that she really had died....

Actually the story was that she lined the underneath of her dress with some of the family jewels and that when they shot the royal family, some of the jewels protected her from getting shot.

Well thats not what my history teacher had ot say bout it. But it doesnt matter becuase they were all myths. She is dead. Get over it.
