I don't take those boxed lines at the end of chapters too seriously, as they don't ever appear in the volumes, so I don't think they come from Miura's hand. I'd say that they are written by the magazine people who want to hype up suspense for the next chapter.

it’s good to see guts slashing, but this arc is really boring, i think that introducing the little witch as a full time character was a big mistake in the first place (around volume 24 if am not mistaken), in the beginning we had a bad ass dude with huge sword, now there’s too much magic stuff, it’s like you’re reading Conan and it suddenly slips into lame Harry Potter shit

This was a nice chapter, not better than the #313 but good.

I think that ship resemble the Sea Horse. In this case Gatts and cia are really in trouble.

I'm pretty sure that it's the pirate's ship actually. Here's a comparison:




Hopefully the Seahorse is safe and sound, but if not, they'll just have to swim.

Since we already know that the pirates have been taken over by the tentacles, that's obvious. What I wonder is why haven't tentacles risen from the sea to try to take over the Sea Horse? Even for Guts it would be hard to fight off that sort of attack; and I don't think the cannons can depress enough to fire at a target that's coming from below the ship.

Christ, are we still getting haters on individual chapters? Let me explain something to you. This manga is a work of art. To judge such small portions of it critically like that is beyond retarded.

This is chapter 314. That means each individual chapter now comprises 0.31% of the manga as a whole. That's like judging the Mona Lisa by looking at a square millimeter sample of it.

I understand that each individual chapter may not hold the excitement of the more epic moments this manga had, but you need to realize that every event in every chapter is part of the whole. If it isn't something awesome, it's leading up to something awesome. If it's not your cup of tea, if you don't like it, fine. But don't bitch about it. Seriously.

This isn't aimed at anyone specifically, but you know who you are. Stop. Bitching.
