Well, I'm taking this with a grain of salt... the Sun has been sued several times for fabricating stories, if this originated from them.
But yeah, that would suck.

Bale said himself that he would never play Batman if Robin was involved.
Don't read too much into this, The Sun is pretty much a Batboy story away from being the new World Weekly News nowadays.

Oh, this can't be for reals. If they put Robin in any of these movies I will rebuke this series. If I wanted to see Robin's lame ass (which I don't), I'd go watch Teen Titans or something.

eddie murphy can pull off the riddler... he's got the energy and the skills to make the character come alive

Yeah, probably, but I just don't want to have the Riddler in the movie, and I sure as hell don't want Robin. If they put Robin in any of these movies, I will not be watching any of these new Batman movies anymore.
