good charlotte blows ass uhhhhhhhhhhh, i blame Greenday for all these wannabe pop punk bands.

Greenday themselves were not bad back in the day. But mainly I blame Blink 182 cause they may have came later, but they are the much poppier sound that all the new bands sound so much like. Besides classic Greenday is good, new greenday is bad.

Anything on the radio, MTV or similar TV channels, anything that hits the news twice in a week.

I woudl agree with you Dtortot, but there are exceptions on the radio. Mainly cause I listen to classic rock mostly now which you get the good shit on the radio. Most new rock does suck, but APC is still good, and when Tool comes out wiht a new album it will kick ass as well, and get radio play. A few other people fall in the same category as Tool and APC, but they have had to been around since hte 90s to be worthwhile. Oh and NIN.

I can't hate on most Nu-Metal bands because it was the first rock genre that I first started listening to. First CD I ever bought in my life as Korn's self titled debut in 1995 when I Heard them on the ending to Street Fighter: The Animated Movie. I don't listen to Nu-Metal anymore, but I ain't about to dis on the genre that got me started on Rock-N-Roll and Metal. I listen to all forms of Rock and Metal now. From Alice in Chains to Pantera to Killswitch Engage to Between the Buried and Me.

I love hip hop and R&B also. But I stray away from most club Rappers and whatnot since I can't stand the degradation of women. Pisses me off. It also pisses me off when you here some woman saying shit how men don't treat them right and treat them like trash and then they go out and dance to the music that influences behavior like that. Makes me want to slap a bitch.
