Batman Kotobukiya statue: Yay or Nay?

I've been eyeballing this Batman statue for some time now and I want to know if people here think it's worth $150. It stands at approximately 11.5" x tall 11.5" x wide 10.25" deep and is (obviously) based off a Jim Lee drawing.
Fancy rotating shizzle!
DISCLAIMER: I'm probably going to buy it regardless of what people say in this thread.
PS: It'd be nice if this turns into a general discussion about statues and shit.

It is cool, but you could use that money to get a kickass Berserk statue!

Hahaha.
Are the Art of War ones any good?
They're probably more expensive though.

$200 bucks.
And that's one of the cheaper ones.
Doesn't really look that good either, but it could be because of the quality of the pictures.
I should get a Behelit.

It looks awesome even though i would recommend one looking more mysterious. I wanna who is based on Jim Sale art. His Batman poses in Long Halloween and Dark Victory was awesome.

Of course its Tim Sale it was only a typo.
I like his art so much that i would pay 150 bucks for that statue in a sec.

it's your money, but I could think of a dozen more useful or fun things to buy for that sum

Well yeah, there'll always be stuff you can buy that is more useful than comics/video games/statues/whatever but I have a few hundred bucks lying around and I haven't really treated myself to anything lately.
I wanted to buy a Dragonball cel, but the good ones are way too expensive.
That costs 15 hundred dollars.
It's ridiculous (but awesome).

i really don't like the 2nd batman statue...it looks too odd. like the torso seems too twisted and the features seem strange

An animation cel is the actual production drawing for an animated show/movie back when coloring was done by hand.
You know, a painted transparency that is placed over a background and shot for 1/24th of a second (for film).
In other words, an actual frame created for the purpose of shooting animation.
If that doesn't make sense, then there's always wikipedia:

Femto, if you don't know how to spend your money, give it to someone who does (me).

Really it might look like that to you but if you have read that comic the art is from you would love it.
According to me Batman has never looked better than at the hands of Tim Sale.
I just love how how mysterious he makes him look in DV and LH.

First one looks like it's worth 79 bucks, second looks like 60. Not worth it. Why do they always insist on making these these detailed statues of men and women? They're hardly worth the money; especially the anime ones which are especially creepy with the detailed panties and boobs.

A friend gave me a behelit for my past birthday (creeped me out when he didn't tell me what it was till after I had discovered myself).
I'm still trying to get models etc, but they are pretty god damn expensive as mentioned.
I like both jim lee +tim sale statues (I'm a big huge fan of LH+DV) Since you already bought it there's no more point in giving advice (again, it's not that you would have listened). Is it pre-painted, assembled or what? Would have been nicer if it could be painted, but its still worth it even so imo (especially being Batman).

Picked it up from the post office today.
It's awesome.
I was a little worried because the box it came in was really, really light. This is my very first statue (of
not many more to come) so I wasn't aware of the fact that vynil was so light (it's kinda smelly too). It's about the size I imagined, maybe a tad smaller.
I actually poked my finger in Batman's ear while trying to pull the damn thing out.
Was it worth $150?
We'll see a few months down the road but right now, I'm really happy with it.
I'll try to get some pictures later.
