Anyone else get the feeling that all this Shrieke forplay will focus Gats rage to become an even more effecient killer, so that she doesn't have intervien as much in the future?

Is this better for the story line? Should we have less psyco guts?

You don't think the whole apostle thing is an interesting twist? Great work guys. I already have some ideas floating wround my head for a new omake.

I'm not sure it's really a twist, we knew the Kushan king is an apostle, and that his underlings hold some of his power, so it's not a real surprise to have Guts brand reacting to him somehow. It's more of a confirmation from my point of view. I mean Guts felt something already when the tigers invaded the palace if I remember well.
Now what I find interesting in this chapter is that in order to retain the armor benefits without slaugthering everything, Guts has to discard his own rage and hate, feeling that gave him the edge in numerous battles. Now what will prove to be the more useful against apostles, that is the question.

it was pretty ambiguous. i dont really think that he is an apostle.
guts was asking himself the question not making a definitive statement.
also, if he is, then he would be very unique. i think this is the 1st time we see an apostle that is a mainly magic user. the previous ones were just brutes that turned into hideous monsters forms with brutish physical strength/speed/accuracy/agility/etc.

It didn't seem like the brand was reacting to the magician though, not to me at least.

The water creature was pretty lame, I've seen millions of them at this point.

Ishidoro will probably burn it or something, he was bitching about fighting after all.

I hope Schierke remains inside Guts. I think that's a neat concept, her working as a conscious of sorts.
