It would have been a closer game if the refs were not so flip floppy, but steelers had the plays that got results so there you go.

Right, so if the majority of the calls had been against the steelers, you would have still been cool with it?

steelers would have been AHH FUCK THE REFS!!! im gonan play so damn well that it wont matter!
actually ive had kind of a sisituation kind of like that. Was in a tennis match back in the day (only 2 years ago) and for junior tournaments the players call the shots, if they are out we call them out. So some people believe they could never trust their opponenint and get a lines ref. well enough the fucking ref was calling my shots out.. ok w/e wish i had those shots in, cuz they were pretty close. so after awhile im losing, on a complete losing streak and the fucking lines ref decides that its time to put on his glasses, HIS FUCKING GLASSES!! this guy is like 50 or so. that ticked me off, i talked to ref abotu his fucking glasses, and he said he had them on the whole time. well fuck you ref! ok so i got pissed and my losing, what did i do?? it was my served and imaged how awesome it would be to come back and win and make everything soo close that the lines ref would have to call it in. well fuck yah my serve is the perfect weapon to start this come back with. BAM fucking took my serve game 4 points out quick! fuck kid tried to call my first one out, fuck ref was like it was in. I turned the game around. ahhh a fuckign highlight in my tennis career, too fuckign bad i had to play the 2nd seed the next match, but w/e thats my story.
Fuck refs, they are to enforce the games' rules, but who gives a shit?? the real athletes are the guys (or chicks) that say fuck it to the bad call and move the FUCK on and make the next biggest play! hence the name "playmakers" in football.
god i need to be a coach for something, ill make a winning team.

I didn't mean to come off like an asshole with my last post, it's just that everybody and their mom jumped on the steelers bandwagon in the Detroit area. And it wasn't like "Well I was rooting for the ____, but now I like the Steelers in this game." They were trying to pass it off like they were fans since week one. It was pretty much "YEAH, COLTS ARE GOING ALL THE WA-...er.... I mean THE BRONCOS, YEAH I.......uh....... STEELERS FOR LIFE!" And that's pretty much quoting more than one person. I give props to The Bus though. Bettis in the hizz-ouse for his last game and Super Bowl win.

I'm in Australia and I don't care. Wake me up when it's the Olympics or something. No, don't fucking disturb my beauty sleep with that Commonwealth games bullshit.

naw this is where i liek to roll in, cuz well ive been a fan of the steelers ever since ive heard of football.
temp dont take offense to what i said i wasnt mad at anyone, i just get ticked off we people blame other people for their lost of a game. Sports should be played with a gentlemen's attitude.
Winter olympics are coming up in like a week or so.

This is the nature of most fans in our suburbs Tempest. I mean come on, most people don't really start the bandwagon horn a blazing untill it is playoff time. Just normal shit.
As for the Super Bowl, glad the Steelers won, shitty game though to watch, only a few interesting plays. And I didn't get a chance to go down town. Oh well, always next super bowl I guess.....

the calls were jus too close to call and its anyones opinion
1) the offensive pass interference call on the seahawks touchdown
i would have not called this, but then again the push off was made during the worst time which was like a second before the catch. if the defender wasnt shoved off, theres a possibility he would have knocked that ball away. so yeah it was an ok call
2) roethlisberger's run-in touchdown
i think the ball jus touched the line of scrimmage, not pass it. however the call first was that it was a touchdown. though it didnt look like he crossed it, there was also not enough evidence to prove that he didnt cross it. thas why the ref didnt overturn it
as for the other calls, they seemed pretty legitimate. as for the seahawks, i think they dont even deserve to win ever based on how they acted. how they began all the shit talking? mike holmgren saying on-air that it was a battle against the refs also? yeah, how mature of them. definitely a super bowl worthy team.
go steelers

I don't like sports unless its SPORTS-Entertainment, like TNA or WWE. I don't even watch for the commercials.
