Guild Wars Vs. WoW

I have a real dilemma coming up..

I'm out of Silent Hills and RO sucks balls atm. So, which do you fellow forum members think is better, World of Warcraft or Guild Wars? I could of course get both, but then I'd have less than no time for school-projects and sports..

And while we're on that, let's make it a poll.

Guild Wars gets boring fast. It has a level 20 max, it's hurting on content updates, and you can even make your own level 20's instantly at the start of the game.

WoW is definately more in-depth and has more content to explore and enjoy. But it also comes with the $15 a month fee. But it's worth it in my opinion.

The only two things which is far better in Guildwars than WoW is

1) No monthly fee
2) Necromancer class

Other than that I think Wow is better. And larger.

There is going to be an expansion with more races. No new classes though. There will also be a new continent and flying mounts.

what good are new races? race doesnt seem to have much affect in WoW as it does wc3

The races still have different racial skills and abilities, as well as different class choices.

Then on a less important note, different mounts :o.

I don't like either. I had more fun with EQ2, but got bored with that as well after a couple of days.

Noooooooooooo!11!!1

Can't help it, the only MMO that I enjoyed for some reason was FFXI. Not really my genre. My brother is into it, so I have tried a lot through him. I have Guild Wars, (not installed right now) because all my friends were getting into it. I didn't like it though. I tried WoW for one day only, and just did not like the feel of the game. But as ya do, I still think there should be a neither option. :kekeke:

As far as Blizzard Expansions go they are 110% willing to turn back on any claims they have made to endorse their products during development.

Right, since it seems to be unanimous at this point, I'm gonna go grab myself a copy of WoW.

Cheerio.

I play Guildwars (still doing the story) and I will play with people online, I think the interface looks cleaner than WoW, but after awhile it gets boring, specially after level 20 in which case you are like everyone else.

WoW will take longer to play through and has a more complex interface which looks like it can be modded (UI mods) which is neat. Hopefully blizzard won't put down the ban-hammer.

Speaking of ban-hammers, anyone else found that in Morrowind? :P

Ah. Bought the game, but thanks to Eldo, I couldn't start it before this.

Start up on DarkSpear as Alliance, and then post your char name here :P.

No trinkets :o. Just started myself ;). But I can help you level since I've been through the Night Elf area a good 5+ times and you said you were starting a rogue.

If I had to play Horde, I'd rather play Tauren.

Okay, this is fun. Blizzard failed to notify that I needed a payment method for my 30-day trial, too. This is just. Yay.

I would have liked it if they'd had a 30-day Gamepass in the box.. Tomorrow, first thing I wake up, I'm gonna spend more money. Yay.

(on closer inspection, I find out that they do tell you that.. GO ME!)

Meanwhile I level up Arvin, the Night Elf Hunter :o. Currently level 9.
