Its not a great manga,its very avreage and its understandable that people dont go crazy over this manga.

I wasn't really a fan of Flame of Recca but Mar is decent,
maybe because I like chess pieces(Rook fav) so it kinda sparked an interest.

Well, I can't speak for everyone else but i like this series. Simple, stright-forward stuff, with a fantasy element, that doesn't require too much thinking. Thanks for picking this one up

Now if some-one were to pick up Nodame I'd be even happier

I liked this manga in the begining with all the magic stuff,but the story doesn go anywhere,they just keep on fighting so i lost intrest.

i think this manga is pretty interesting, it doesnt quite make sense but its pretty good in the middle and hopefully the ending too

I read vol. 1 a few months ago. Didn't like it and stopped reading MAR.
Now that EG have picked it up, I gave it a second chance and I have to say that with the introduction of the Chess no Koma in book 2, it really improves. I like it. It's entertaining and I'm looking forward to future releases of this manga.

My speculations on the reason that there isn't that much talk about it lies in the fact that it's unknown that you are scanlating it.

Try to read my first post and then tell me how you could think I thought bad of this great manga.

Moreover I've read your post about the latest naruto chapter in nexgear and another time you just imply that if you don't like something then nobody should like it. I really hate this kind of reasoning.

If E_G decided to scanslate Mar it's because there is somebody in this group who thinks this manga great and I agre with him (as a lot of other people).

Go on scanslating it.

Pretty much every manga EG does, is done because "Oro" likes it ;p

There could be a few exception, like if an important member requested something, but it somehow never worked out so far. But well, at this point, it's simply because we don't have translators to spare for extra projects anymore ;)

side-note: ch76 very soon (sorry for the long delay ;p)

I dont know what you are talking about..... i didn like the latest naruto and why would i care what everyone thinks.... If i dont like something i just write it , i dont go and say to people "oh my god why did you like this".....

About EG choosing this manga, i was just wondering how they choose what manga to work on and now i know how they choose.

I just read chapter 75 and it was pretty good and i hope to see some action.

Also if somebody can recomend me a manga like this would be great, i need more magic mangas.
