WOW I am surprised there is not a thread up on this yet Any way got to play my friends xbox 360 and it is every thing the hype said it would be but I am still not willing to go out and buy one. I played Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4 and madden 06, all had good graphics, but I found my self saying "this is a xbox 360 that stupid computer should blow up when I shoot it". The best thing I say was the smoke and when your bullets hit the ground dust flies up. Still going to wait, probably a year, to get one though. You never know by then they might come out with an xbox 720 (360*2)
I of course chose the last option, I find immence pleasure in the fact that people spent money on something that can set their house on fire. (lawsuits are pending)
There is nothing in terms of games that will get me to buy this machine. Quake4, played it... on a real machine. Any other FPS, I'll play it when it arrives for non-consoles.
Never getting a system on launch ever. That said, I'm going to have to wait a while to see what games come out and make my decision after the price drops. If PS3 still has the type of games I play and like (Mainly RPG's and fighting games) then it's on. If not then I'd just get another system.

Within days of the Xbox 360's launch a week ago, users began reporting intermittent crashes, screen freezing, and display artifacting.
One gamer, identified only as "Goldeneyemaster," wrote on the Gamespot message forum Wednesday that he had stopped the crashes by suspending the brick-like power supply with string to keep it off the ground. Later, he posted photos showing how he did away with the string by setting the power unit on the edges of an opened box.
"It seems like most 360s are freezing due to overheating," wrote Goldeneyemaster. "My Xbox 360 was freezing every 20 minutes. When I put the power supply unit on this box I left the console on for 7 hours without crashing."
Other 360 owners joined in, saying that once they cooled down overheated power units -- by using fans or in one case, a half-filled bottle of frozen water -- their consoles stopped crashing.
No mention of fire.. however, that will come in time. I read about a lawsuit at work today about xbox360 not working anymore after overheating.
Powersupplies that overheat can (in my experience) catch the PCB on fire.
I will most likely get the 360 at some point, (namely when Halo 3 is released- I am Bungie's bitch ) but I doubt it will be the first next-gen console I get.

I thought i could deny it, but i do want the system. Mist walker and other good companies are finally making good rpgs on the 360. I just need to get a job and wait for a price drop though it wont drop till at least christmas 2006 IMO.
When you have to move your controler to make the games do stuff what do you expect. I will give them one for origanality but that is all they are going to get out of me
Hey, all i have to say is that Kojima is very interested in working with the functionality of the Revolution's controller. It's rumored that Kojima might make Zone of the Enders 3 for the Revolution to make use of the controller.
After playing Perfect Dark Zero and Call of Duty 2 all night at my friends house, I am for sure getting a 360. Perfect Dark was great, but I actually enjoyed Call of Duty more. I thought it would be just another WWII game, but it really surprised me. We probably played for 7 or 8 hours straight and I touched the power supply to see how hot it was, it was rather warm, but nothing dangerous. It was sitting on the carpet too.
