But it is in the end a made up office for which I am unaware of a true english equivalent. *END NOTE*

Fantastic chapter, much thanks to psi and mystic and the entire EG team.

Seems that Guts is definitely going to involve himself in this war after all. There are some things, such as the slaughter of apostles and Griffith's date with the Dragonslayer, that Guts simply cannot let slide. With Ganishka staring him right in the face, I seriously doubt that Guts will simply ignore all of this and try to steal a ship and mush on toward Alfheim.

On a sidenote, even Guts was openly impressed with the sheer force of Frederico Vandemion's presence. Its no wonder the Vandemion family has remained the pinnacle of the Holy See.. Although his speech in the face of a room full of dead monsters, a witch, elves, a flying swordsman, and corpses among other things sorta reminded me of the Men in Black or a Jedi mind trick or something.

Putting on a show like that would be necessary both to save face (the head of the Papal Agency's daughter is a witch?! omfg) and swing the public opinion in favor of him making use of this group's unique talents against the Kushan. I think Guts lending his service to the Vandemion against Ganishka is pretty much sealed now.

Your forgetting that he still has the Cascka problem, well he could just put her on a ship to Elfhelm and then do what he does best

Or maybe Farnese´s father will use his daughter (And maybe Cascka) as a lever to get him to join in on the war. But that can also backfire (Like it has so many times before when someone tries to control Guts)

Now that's out the way, Looks like Guts is going to staying for the battle. So going by what we know, I'm guessing Schierke going to put up the normal 4 angle defence plus a new one. In particular the one she was going to put on the beach hut, because the alligators having physical bodies but didn't get a chance to put it on. Where is she going to put it up? No idea but it can't be the whole city, so...

I'm guessing a Cathedral so the innocent will be protected and she can see the battle field(Cathedrals are normally the highest place in the city). I think Serpico will be on assassination duty as Schierke tells him where the animal commanders are. As for Guts we all know what he's going to be doing

and lets not forget Azan

can't wait to see him fight.

Yes great work, now this chapter leaves use like most others with more questions than answers.

Oh well seeing Ganishuka again was awesome and now Guts has seen him and knows what he is up against.

Well it looks like the kushan are burning all the ships so no leaving for Guts and crew, so got to stay and fight. I hope everyone lives this one out... but it doesn't seem likely

Giggity!! Awesome chapter fella's I really appreciate all the hard work you guys do so that I and everyone else can read Berserk. I can't wait until October now! Still far off in my eyes though. Looks like it's going to be a badass chapter. Kinda caught me off guard that Guts didn't try to stab the Kushan Kings (forget his name) head though...seems like something he would do just out of sheer anger.

This was a great chapter! Maybe Gatts and Co. can sell their monster killing talents to Farneze's father in exchange for a ship after the battle. That way they could kill Apostle's and work on continuing their journey all at once.
