perhaps it's irritating while gaming :| ... no clue why to lock it.

Perhaps the button is broken.

only thingi know that could irritate is that every once in a while when mt palm touches it the mouse makes a sudden move and this can indeed be very frustrating at times when your gaming or doing something that requires precision. But there are a lot of thing that make a touchpad not respond to that... i believe it eve is a standard function in windows.

Yah its for gaming. It has a tap once feature to click, sooooo my palm touches it every now and then.

Ive looked in my windows, but i can only find my logitech mouse driver.

in the config screen there is a mouse part and if installed correctly also a touch screen part... it's a complete setup for all the functions you want with the touch screen you can disable the tap = click option in there (i have it switched off myself.... i went nuts in Deus Ex)

perhaps if you block the software from starting up.
try executing msconfig
