It's possible if the armor is incomplete he can't go Berserk.

I found it funny how unconcerned Gutts is for the welfare of the nobles. He didn't even flinch when the kitties burst through the windows and killed off that poor group of nobles.

This chapter was damn awesome, thanks for the super speedy release. It seems there was more than one of those tiger beasts, as someone mentioned back in the 259 topic. Also, as others predicted, 99% of the nobles were too busy gawking at the Dragonslayer to recognize Guts as the Black Swordsman OR the Hawks' Raiding Commander. I figured Owen may recognize Guts well before anyone else would, which he did, if only a little.

This chapter seems to hint even more than Vandemion is going to recruit Guts to help defend Vritannis by any means necessary. The deal will likely involve the single best ship of the massive fleet currently at his disposal. This would also give Silatt a good chance to catch up with Guts before he and his party begin their voyage to Alfheim. If Silatt is going to have anything more than a bit part, this little turn of events will be his best chance yet....It all depends on how he feels about the current Emperor Kushan being a hulking demonic cloud of ickyness.

If Vandemion implores Guts to join his forces for the time being, it would also give Guts an excellent chance to find out more about the Neo-Hawks, Griffith's fight against the Kushan, and the horrors taking place in Midland...not that he should care too much about the latter. We'll see.

You bothered reading my senselessly long post and thats the only aspect that you found interesting? I fail I once read some script that called it Alfheim and I liked the name a whole lot. Reminds me of this. I used to be a norse buff and Puck's birthplace fit the description a little, so it stuck with me. My apologies if I've in some way offended your sensibilities.

PS: I also call Puck a fairy sometimes which'll probably get me shot...although I think Everella called him a pixie before, and technically he belongs to the sylph family (or something?).. Well I dunno, I'm kinda flakey like that. Sorry
