Ok, so Serp's power is in the way he keeps his cool and thinks rationally (and magical weapons and stuff)...if he would attack an apostle head on in blinding anger (like Guts does) with his...huh...powerful but tickleish sword, he would be put to his place in no time.

pre-eclipse Casca with post-eclipse looks IMO
Stupid theory: Slann fell for Guts and because of that she decides to stop being GodHand member and becomes a human (total babe). Than Guts sacrifices her and becomes the last GodHand to get Griffith.
