The last chapter was pretty good as in informative, if Naruto has a Wind based chakra, he´ll probably summon whirlwinds or something like that.

I have just read chap 303-315 and i must say i like how things are going for once.

Sasuke become ultra strong bad guy like, Naruto will start his new training,Sai wasnt totaly useless,we got to see other teams like my fav Shikamaru.

Then there is the new akatsuki guys who are after him now and i must say i like the fantatic religous guy who actaully prays to his "God" everytime he kills.

The kage bunshing training is smart, i just dont get why Jiraya didnt use it when he thougt him Rasengen,it could have taken Naruto a day to learn it instead of weeks full of pain.

yea the asuma/sandaime/konohamaru plot angle is worth exploring.
i think it will have something to do with sandaime being his dad.
and maybe konohamaru is his son or nephew.

heh if we can plot the goodness of naruto on a graph, now would be an uptrend.

Yeah I think that's about it.

Was there mentioned at some point that the number of tails determine the level of power? It doesn't make any sense really, but to see how Akatsuki deal with 1,2 or 3 tails (I include Gaara, cause he got owned by ONE guy), I hope these beast are more powerfull as the number of tails goes on. I mean they are supposed to be the ultimate war machine and they almost toy with them.

Edit:oh yeah new platoon teams coming, meaning redemption time is coming!? An all out Akatsuki hunt, I want!

3 things i was wondering:
1. the other tails seem to be able to revert to demon form whilst still maintaining their control, whereas naruto cannot so far. does it mean he can change to the 9-tails and still be in control later?
2. the other tails have vessels that are the same element: sand, water, etc. the 9-tails is obviously fire, yet naruto is a wind element ninja? maybe his secondary element will be fire.
3. i am sooooooo darn curious about the "two elements combine to form a new element" chakara concept... water/wind=ice, earth/water=wood.... any ideas what are the rest? there are 5 basic elements: wind, water, fire, earth and ???

I don't think the author came up with that, I think I've seen this kind of combinations used in others mangas, but I can't remember where. So the information is probably somewhere out there. Let's speculate: sand=earth+fire? 5th element is lightning.

's not helping really.

And Naruto is bound to control up the the 8-tail at some point. We've seen how he progressively kept control up to the 3rd tail. 9th tail I don't know, that would be overpowered I think. In theory he should keep control. The others Jinchiuriki we saw were adults, so maybe they had more time to learn control.

Thats the thing it doesnt matter how many tails or how powerful a demon is if the container is sucky. Naruto has become good at using kyubi chakra to his advantage. Gaara was good with his demon but the other two werent very good.

The number of tails most likely do not tell us the strenght of kyubi, Gaara is one of the strongest "kid" characters and he holds the one tail.

He only lost to Deidara one on one because he used the sand village has a distraction, he was winning the fight.

But it´s scary how casual the Akatsuki look while doing this, this 20 small brigades thing will hopefully make up from the lack of fighting in the last arc.

Edit: Wow, give Kishimoto a prize, it´s the first time he doesn´t color a total useless page.

Gaara would waste Diedara if he wasnt protecting his village at the same time thats clear.

I wonder who is in this brigade. I mean they must be some big guns since they are meant to take care of Akatsuki people.

I have to concur that Naruto is actually on an 'up-streak' at the moment. I started losing interest after the Chunin exam finished

(the Naruto-Gaara battle before they had the whole 'aaagh, rescue sasuke' arc). The Akatsuki people are pretty cool.

I'm still fascinated by that freaky-Venus-flytrap Atatsuki guy, whose name I can never remember... I tihnk it starts with Z.

Deidara would waste Naruto if (s)he didn't wanted to catch Gaara alive.

That depends on how much Kyubi Naruto uses.

If he becomes wild like when he almost killed Oro not so long ago. Diedara doesnt have a chance.

This new two akatsuki better be powerful cause otherwise they dont have a chance against Naruto with new jutsu plus Kakashi,Yamato, this Brigade.

Just started to read Naruto, because my ISP is sucking out and I cant DL the anime, so I am on volume 10... Its amazing how alike the anime and the manga are, the only real big difference I see is that there is penetration in the manga (ex. Kakashi stabing Zanba in the arms: in the anime they stoped at the tip in the manga they go all the way through, same with his Lightning Edge move) so its a toss up for me but for now i am going to stick with the manga.

Just finished reading Volume 31.... I though it was great all the plot twist and revelations, got to see Naruto use the Rasengan with his clone... that was cool but he should figure out how to use that better like by him self and then modifie it so that the chakra gathers at his finger tips as tornados

PS I am glad that Sakura learn some good techniques too

Just got caught up... great another Manga to wait for
