Clerks 2: All in all a very enjoyable movie. The comedy is a more extreme than in the original clerks. But its a good blend of the Clerks Comedy with Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back comedy.

Pretty much a lesson on how not to do a movie, and shows how important it is to cut and edit movies(1 hr of excess crap dialogue/scenes, at the least!). Someone should seriously fuck up the retarded director(who I wish made his first and only movie).

And this is the kind of movie where you fucking way, can say you like or dislike due to different tastes. If so, if one of you liked it, I'm eager to hear why hehe.

P.S I still enjoyed it in a weird way(because, visually, its a one of a kind movie), in some degree. Watched it after seeing a movie I enjoyed very much, Syriana, and then saw this crap, which almost made lose hope on all movies.

I also liked Casshern. It was mostly eye-candy, and some things were confusing, like wtf was that lightning thing? But it was a decent.

I saw Lady in the Water last night and I didnt really care for it. It was fairly boring. I guess its supposed to be a mystery/horror flick? It had a lot of lame scenes that made the girls in the theater scream and jump. So I guess it s a good date movie. I was just expecting more from Shyamalan, I think hes gone down hill with his last couple movies.

There were a couple new and interesting trailers before the movie though. The one that really caught my eye was called The Fountain, its directed by Darren Aronofsky, who did PI and Requiem for a Dream.

Cassern had the worst action clips i have seen, it makes the action scenes in Batman Begins look good. The camera was so shaky that you coulndt see anything. The cool eye candy stuff was too CGI, so i was like meh.

Fountain is a funny movie. Cause he wrote it to be a movie but Brad Pitt who would produce and star dumbed him. After that he made it a graphic novel which became so famous that they wanna make it a movie now.

Funny how things work sometimes.

Yes Casshern is decent as eye-candy, thats why I said I enjoyed in a weird way, because it was unique in that way(but also too much).

But one disregards that at the end, becausewhen comes to the whole movie, its unbelieveable crap in many ways, that it doesnt matter that it looks cool, but also crap in the few action scenes it had(cuts the scenes fast and rapidly, in a retarded way, awful) bar one, the whole godly-like robot slashing is the one I meant btw.

Regarding that the thunder bit, that was one of million things which was confusing to core, about this movie. Its rare that you watch a movie and ask the others you are watching with "wtf was that? What do they mean? huh?" pretty in big parts of the movie(And I dont usually like to talk when watching).

For a very good movie, watch Jarhead, very well done, beautiful and intense movie with a simple story.

When Sony announced they were going to show a picture of Venom, I was expecting something much more revealing.

Oh well.

I'm kinda looking forward to the Iron Man movie.

The director (Jon Favreau) is taking input from fans and has already hired Adi Granov to do design work for the movie at their request. Granov is the extremely talented digital painter responsible for the beautiful artwork in half's avatar as well as Iron Man: Extremis and most Iron Man covers today.

Favreau's previous movies are nothing to write home about (Elf) but it seems like he's at least taking his source material seriously.

Iron Man and stuff on other Marvel movies:

now the question for Iron Man movie is who can become the alcoholic billionare Tony Stark?

May 2, 2008 is too long for me to wait.

Feige said that the first three films that Marvel is looking at are Captain America, Nick Fury, and Thor, and all are currently being worked on, actively.

anyone see that horrible Hasslehoff as Nick Fury movie????

Final destinatin 3- Better then I´ve heard so it was a descent movie. Must get my hands on part 2, still havent seen it.

The Butcher- Crap ass movie which has stolen the whole plot from various movies, stay away from this movie. They should have used a better camera.

Staying alive- My god this movie was dreadful to watch. Talking a bunch of crap all the time, i mean come on, the game that they play is "udnerground". I play games but seriously I have never heard about an underground movement of gamers.

Hostel- This movie wasnt a horror movie, more like a thriller mixed with a bucket of blood and gore.

I would rather have no villains in the Iron Man movie, not any superpowered ones at least.

Same with Batman Begins. It would've been a much better movie without Ra's and Scarecrow (which happened to pale to their comic book incarnations).

Also, I don't think the Mandarin would translate well to film.

You people don't know anything about movies.

I say go get Zombie Honeymoon. Not recommended if you just got married. But overall this movie is just a funny joke.

It definitely will not. I can also see this film banned in China. Although they ban everything.

But I do think some sort of threat that is at superpowered level needs to be in this film to show Iron Man's asskickery. If it's a virus or anything like that, why bother having Iron Man in it? Possibly some Armour wars or race or something like that?

For an Iron Man movie, they need to do a total Batman Begins/ spiderman idea, start the story from the beginning.

Most dont know who tony stark is, or why he even creates Iron Man. Tony Stark is not a good man, he is an alcoholic, a total asshole and can be pointed as the bad guy for creating weapons of the future.

For such a prick you sure seem to like him alot.

Tony Stark kicks ass.

I think Iron Man's origin story alone could translate into a good movie.

Mark Millar has mentioned that Johnny Depp would be a good candidate for Tony Stark.

Yeah, Johnny Depp could probably pull off a convincing Tony Stark.

I cant understand why they make a movie about him. His comic has always been crap. I mean even his fans complain about how there never have been a good story about him and that there arent any supporting characters.

For me he is boring cause the only thing that they make him human with is that he is an alcoholic what a clichè.

Actually, in an Ultimates comic, the team discusses who should play who if a movie is made of them, it went something like this:

Nick Fury: Samuel L. Jackson
Captain America: Brad Pitt
Iron Man: Johnny Depp
Giant-Man: Matthew McConaughey
The Wasp: Lucy Liu
Bruce Banner: Steve Buscemi

Brad Pitt would be a horrible Cap, cause Cap looks like a seasoned war hero, well Brad doesnt look like that. Too much pretty boy, remember Troy :P

WOA WOA WOA. Pitt in Troy was fucking huge, him at that size could easily play Cap. I think Casper Van Dien (aka Johnny Rico) would be a nice Cap, though he would need to put on some size.

Johnny Depp i think could easily play the alcoholic tony stark, though i think he should add some weight.

Thats the thing i dont mean his body being big enough, i mean his acting.

Johnny Depp is a great actor he can play anything why not a simple character like Tony Stark.

John Cena for Cap?

That utterly retarded WWF wrestler?

Great casting that would be Tempest, read the same thing in Ultimates, and it was spot on, ispecially Samuel L Jackson. But I doubt they would ever do the Ultimate version of them(Nick Fury being black etc).
