Do you realize this lousy fight has been dragging on since the Osaka arc started? That's 3 volumes! There was not ONE bit of story progression so far. And yeah, five more sounds good.

I think people keep reading Gantz in hope for story progression and boobs/rape (probably more for the second). But they've got to realize that the mangaka has no idea was the hell is going on.

It's been pretty clear to me for a while now. The only reason for the manga to be that popular is its promises, the art and the undiscriminating slaughter.

Says and avid reader of Gantz frustrated by the clueless author.

Turns out that the Osaka chapter was just one big Shark Tank for the story to jump over.

I agree with The Prince, Gantz turned into a mindless/endless slaughter for too long, the story can't be saved after that ; the creator will probably go on with fanservices (boobies+gore+badass characters) anyway.

Whatever Oku has in plan with Gantz, he already know what that is. He said so in a interview in the Gantz manual, it was like talking about sex with him, apparently is that awesome.

The guy just really, really, like tits, ass and gory action. And the plot cannot advance every time the team is in a mission, i think that´s why the sometimes drags missions like this, a perfectly good excuse for action.

But unlike before in the earlier volumes of Gantz, he actually advances the plot between missions.

yea i hope so too.. it's wishful thinking to be honest but for god's sake I want this arc to be over!

Yeah, I was wondering what the point of that was too, but it still looked kind of cool. *shrugs* I'm ready for more plot too, at this point. Besides, if anyone actually lives on the main team, they'll have to have enough points to revive Kei. I want Kei to come back. >.>

Yeah Kei will definitely come back, unless Takeshi dies. At this rate, that seems like it will happen.

Any one else noticed the fact that that thing is just a big copycat?
When it was grabbed by the black dude it turned into a garbing monster, when it then got attacked by that gravity gun it turned into some sort of huge ass monster that seemed to be able to manipulate gravity and pull the limbs right of people. Then it was attacked by the huge suit and it became some sort of copy to that to, now after being torn to pieces it became muscle rider deluxe. but I don't think it's impossible to kill, it just copy's and adapts way fast, it's a trick monster kind of like that Buddha guy in the temple.
but I wonder what the trick is... maybe if you kill yourself in front of it, it will copy that to? Or maybe you have to continuously change your attack so it can't adapt? Maybe that's why they were brought to Osaka because no one can take it one on one but a varied team can?

Also: master said his organs were like that of an old man because of all the stress he put on his body, so he's dieing.
That explains why he doesn't want to be revived, but gantz fix's all other injuries when he teleports people into the room, is this plot hole or do you think there's a reason?
