Tried to see Devil's Rejects, but the times were off for me, so i saw Wedding Crashers instead. Funny movie, very cliched, but its still hilarious.

Devils Rejects is not playing at any of the theaters around here. Damn Utah. They never showed Equilibrium here either.

Can I have a question about the Island? I was sitting in the cinema where I saw it's trailer, and I only said

when it ended. It made absolutely no sence to me. What is it about?

and Equilibrium was never in cineams here either, it just came out in DVD. Saw it on HBO in the end and I got it on tape...hehehe

Wasn't the original called Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? I thought this movie was supposed to be a continuation of it with Charlie succeeding the old caretaker (Willie Wonka.)

yeah that is correct.... i kinda made an error in used the Dutch title (Sjackie en de Chocoladefabriek) and the english one (Charlie and theChocolate Factory) in a weird mix-up...

I saw Batman Begins last night it was great the best Batman movie so far. Bale was so perfect as Wayne and Batman. The fights i liked so much,cause for the first time in a movie or the animation i saw Batman fight like a Bat. He attacked the bad guys really like from above,or so quick that he almost looked like a real Bat.

Also the director did really well with the story cause there was over an hour of story before he became Batman,which is a nice touch. Unlike the other comic movies like Spidey where he becomes a superhero after 5 mins of the movie.

I have to say this year has been a golden year for the movies. Everytime i leave the cinema i feel like "man thats was a great movie" First it was Kung Fu Hustle then Sin City,War Of The(ok) Worlds,Fanstac Four(not great but better than i thought),Batman.

Hope for more movies like these next year and the rest of this year.

only 1 thing i did not like about batman begins.... the bat car.... especially that weapon mode with bale going down between the front wheels of that car

I yeah it was called Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory back then. The new title of the movie would make you think it was a continuation, thats what I thought at least. But nope, as I've overstated earlier, just a shitty remake.

Basically, this company makes clones for rich people as an insurance policy. Say their liver fails, they have a perfect donor for a new one; themself. So one clone gets curious, finds out whats going on and gets the hell out of there.

Meh, you would never get that from the trailer. Sounds kind of cool though.
It's ironic, My friends and I were arguing over what to see The island or that other movie ... I wish we saw the Island.

I agree, it sounds stupid, But like I said, I like the movie from back in the day.
I doubt I'd ever give any books in the series a read.

I guess they tried to mash all the books into one movie, cause they did something like that in the remake, at one point they fly around town the that elevator. Lame-O

I saw "Cursed" of Wes Craven. Predictable movie. Few "scares" in it. For the rest it was nothing special at all.

The Village was one of the lamest...I repeat...LAMEST movies I saw. Not at all scary, a bit depressing, but altogether: meaningless, senseless, lame, not at all intersting, ridiculously poor acting (+the sub was so badly written, but it was my personal problem).

the only thing scary was when I realized how bad the movie was and there were still 60 minutes left.

i totally loved the village... great plot good suspense and perfect overal feel...

let me guess your one of those people that actually considered the ring scary.... now THAT was a lame ass movie... better then the original japanese version but still a completly worthless movie

Honestly, both movies blow.

But it's not thier fault, suspense/horror has gone down hill since the arrival of movies like jeepers creepers and Boogieman. It was once a respected genre in the 80's - early 90's but really, there hasn't been a good one in a long time. (Dawn of the dead came close, but the original was better. When people do dumb shit for a dog, like running through a feild of zombies, the movies loses mad cred with me.)

Maybe I just don't have any love for those movies anymore. Last movie that scared me was ... Tales from the hood, I think I was 12ish. (those dolls that looked like Chris Rock were kind of creepy)

I totally agree. A good horror movie is hard to find these days. I don't consider Jeepers Creepers as a horror movie. More comedy

Haven't heard of day of the dead, I should watch more T.v.

The last zombie flick I heard about was Land of the dead. Which I heard was a stinker. But I like those slow witted, brain eating, bastards. So I'll probably go see it.

P.s. No zombie movie I have ever seen had a decent reason or story behind zombies walking the earth, anyone ever notice that?

but dennis hopper is in land of the dead... i mean, he is a top rate actor. Of course, this is comming from the same guy who liked Waterworld (with dennis hopper) and The Postman which has been panned by critics.

I thought it was Dennis Quaid, Dennis hopper is the guy from Boiling Point (with Wesley Snipes)

But even still, I haven't seen land of the dead yet, but the fact that they use sub machine guns against scared human instead of eating them alive like a zombie with a lil sense would do it is a big downer.

You have to admit though, that has to be one of the coolest lines ever. It is kinda difficult to picture it in your mind, but try elongating the "man". That is pure Hopper.
