Well one alliance card that I know of is at 20 bucks. Thats Force of Will. You might be surprised at the Urza block prices and then again maybe not. There are a lot of 20 dollar cards rolling around in there.

hooray! Too bad my roomates deck got stolen with all his expensive cards. Timewalks, Candelabras, Abyss, etc. Damn, i wish i had taken it.

I had one awesome deck... it was the one forest deck. It had one forest, a bunch of mana pumping elves, and insanely huge creatures. I was winning until someone used Jokelhaups (Sp) and killed everything on the board.. then i had no mana. My friend took it a step further and built the no forest deck which used lotus petals and crap. And it's all about the old school cards man. I used to play the wait my opponent out game too. Circle of Protections, Sanctuary, Solitary Confinement, Grindstones, millstones.... mmmmmmmm the good ol days. New cards are too powerful imo, but i haven't played in a long time. The sly decks could still win.

^ And i would hold onto them even longer man. They will only go up

I have complete sets from beta all the way up to Urza Saga.

My favorite card ever made = Serra Avatar -> it's no where near the best or most expensive, but I love it.

Well, if there is ever a EG & Mindwerks cookout/BBQ event or something, we will have to play.

Yeah, a big ass 10 person multiplayer game.

Actually on magicthegathering.com , they have like columns set up to make up new multiplayer formats. Ones that come to mind are Emporer, Two-Headed Dragon, and Star.

ya, complete sets gonna make you a shit load. and ya i agree that its just getting too insane. it reminds me of sports and the ever increase competition. but with cards...and combinations...

Thanks Tempest for giving me deck creation props, I put a lot of time into those damn things.

Been a while since I played magic last, I am actually going to try and sell the rest of my cards.

Oh, that does sound like fun. Even I would have to get in on that action. First I’d test my black deck. Once it was put out of commission, then I’d have to bust out with the old school green monster deck. Yeah, I doubt I’d take home the trophy, but it’d still be fun.

Damn i used to have some good cards. I think my mom threw them away though cause i stopped playing for like a year.

I have over $12,100 in rare cards from beta to legends so far. my head hurts really bad!

Just from Beta to Legends?!? DAMN! Of course, after that point, the cards are gonna be worth substantially less I would think, but that is quite a lot of money.
