If they win the first home game and gets confidence then i can see them winning all thier games at home.

Duncan is the most dominating in the playoffs it like he starts to get serious when it playoff time.

Also i wonder if Horry will become a hall of famer cause he know has most 3 points in nba finals, second most playoff games, second most 3p in playoff,5 soon maybe 6 nba titels.

Man i dont understand how you can bench a player like that.

Also i have seen that Genobili ONLY can drive to basket in the end of the games when the opponent is in the penalty making them softer on d avoiding the free throws. That is what he has done in the 2 games, wonder what he can do when the pistons leads,i think Parker is much better on driving cause he drives and scores all the time.

oo don't hate. Ginobilli was doing what he wanted to the Pistons. On top of that Detroit's home court is over rated. They could win 2 out of 3 but no way all three. There weren't even competitive in the first 2 games.

Genobili did what he wanted when they pistons coulndt tuch him cause they were afraid of free throws. Parker is faster so he can drive to basket better.

If they win two in a row then they will win the third too.

The first game tommorow night is the key.

Ginobili didnt miss a shot until the fourth quarter. your arguement made no sense. All they had to do was put a hand in his face but they can't and thats the point. The Pistons are done they aren't wining anything in a row. They have no offense period and their defense in the last game was awful. :(

I love how everyone makes it seem like that they will play all the much better at home. It wasn't like they were losing by single digits, they were getting their doors blown off. It would take a Spur meltdown (which they are capable of) but... The Spurs are playing on a different level right now and I guess thats the benefit of playing a team like the Suns.

being an educated basketball fan its obvious which is the better team. Now the thing is will the better team start playing down to the lessers level?? Maybe for a game or two no more than that. Remember this team has lost a series in which they lead 2 - 0 before.

I also know which team is better overall but the game isn't over until the fat lady sings ;)
What I'm counting on is that Pistons play better offensively home and that they always come true when the knife is at their throat.

Also i wasn't talking about Genobili's 3p, i was talking about that he didn't drive to basket and score until the end when pistons were in the penalty. While Parker drived and scored several times from the beginning.
So when it comes to driving Parker is superior.

No he isn't. Ginobili is known for the lay ups that he gets. The contact that he draws. He doesn't go to the line on touch fouls. He goes to the line because he throws himself into people, draws them into the air and jumps into them. He didn't drive to the basket this game because they wanted to make him shoot the ball. That obviously backfired. In the first game all he did was go to the basket. They always say what is amazing about him is that he always goes left and everyone knows that but he always manages to go left anyway.

Yeah Tempest Pistons rock :D

Grahf:

Didn't i say that Pistons play better offensively at home ;)

And when B.Wallace defends like that its almost impossible to beat Detroit.

If they win game 4,then the series is alive again, they can win one away game but not two so game 4,5 is a must win.

they win game 4 they will go back to SA 3 - 2.

Why? because they are going to win game 5 eitherway. I gave detriot 2 out of 3 off the bat. The thing now is "how hurt" is Ginobili. I had a feeling either he or Duncan would get hurt when they went back to Detroit. Just look Duncan got hurt during the regular season and Wade got hurt last series. I had a feeling something would happen to tilt the luck in the favor of Detroit.

Thats to take nothing away from their game 3 win. I knew they would win games at home but this is a series if this "injury" turns out to be something.

Genobili didnt seem hurt in game 3 so i dont think there is a injury problem so far anyway.

So you only think that Detroit can win gam 4,5 if someone like Geno is hurt in SA?

he didn't?? I heard he only took 7 shots. Plus there was talk according to some guys on TV of SA holding him out of 2nights game. So he could be 100% for game 5 (not that it matters). This is pretty much the Dewayne Wade situation what do you do? Looking at Dwayne Wade had he been able to play in game 6 the Heat would have won (IMO).

The main reason SA won game one and two was because of the superb play of Ginobili. He played well and that opened the whole floor for everyone else. Though Detroit picked up their rebounding (as I expected) the last 2 games. Game 3 SA missed everything were as game 2 they couldn't miss.

So with SA's "star player" not at 100% it doesn't look good. Now if they win tonight's game its over in 6. If they lose tonight Detroit will probably win in 6. It isn't an injury he is playing hurt and playing hurt isn't good. lol

Just think of Billups getting a bruised leg or whatever it is. Hell ask Shaq how that fells. lol

Thanks to your post i remembered that the game starts soon otherwise i would go and sleep cause the time is 2.35.

I saw Geno and he looked okay in game 3, i mean he went to basket as usually when he was in the game but he did rest alot. I hope he is injured cause without him SA have only Parker and Duncan who can score.

On the other hand i don't like when teams say we lost cause of our star player was injured when they would still loose like Heat in game 7,the wouldn't win with Wade without the injury cause Pistons team is better than a two man show, they showed it last year too.

Actually the heat did have that series in the bag the "injury" was the momentum shift that was needed. As much as I don't like to hear that either. That really is the truth when you think about it. He looked fine but he only took 7 or 8 shots. That really doesn't sound like him then again I really didn't watch the game nor tonight's (which I heard was a blow out). I'm sure there wasn't a great showing and the Spurs have in fact gone back to sand trap basketball. They have now just lost the series. Its over in 6 unless someone for Detroit gets injured in the next game.

I hope its over SA i really do. Injury or not SA are not playing as a team right now. When Duncan,Parker cant score it doesn't matter if Genobili scores 20-30 they will still lose.

The difference right now is the defense,Detroit is showing who has the best defense in the NBA and the best defender.

Ben Wallace tonight 11 p 13 rebounds 5 steals and 3 blocks that the difference cause when he plays like only he can then the rest of them is on fire too.

Detroit doesn't have the best defense SA does. The difference I'd assume is that they aren't hitting their shots. In the first 2 games they didn't miss.

The best defense right now in the series belong to the pistons, SA look like the suns defense right now....

They are not hitting the shots cause of the D by the pistons.

THe Spurs weren't held to 69 points. *rolleyes* then again I'm not watching the games so I dont know whats going on. nor do I care this sounds like one of the worst finals ever. Even when Jordan played there would be one blow out game not 4.

It might sound like a boring finale cause of the blow outs but watching the games are much fun cause every game the team that won played the perfect basketball. Perfect D,offense, teamwork everything. I have watched every game and can say that its much more fun than last years final. Cause when the pistons or lakers won they didnt play perfect as SA and Detroit does in this series.

I mean Detroit made only 4 turnovers last night an NBA finals Record.

Yeah it sounds all well and good but I'm not interested anymore. I don't even care who wins anymore. I cared for game 1 and up to halftime of game 2. After 3 I washed my hands with it. If this series goes to 7 its an NBA conspiracy. 7 games equals more money. Though the ratings suck and I wonder why.

Posted: Sat Jun 18, 2005 1:35 pm

Th ratings suck cause there are too many fake basketball fans that think that basketball is nothing but dunks and tricks.

As some fan from argentina said this the is perfect nba final with the two best team aka best team work.

I dont think that there will be any more blowouts when the series goes back SA. Cause SA must win to survive and Detroit must win to win the NBA titel.

Well I watched the last play of the fourth quarter and all of overtime. All I have to say is WTF was that??? Detroit had the game and lets leave Big Shot Bob wide open.

That's a mystery to me too,how can you leave Horry open at 3 point line when its 9 secs left that is a mistake that cost them the NBA title. Also how can you let him score 21 points in the 4th quarter and overtime.

At the same time the guy is scary cause he made most of his 3pts while he was guarded and didn't miss a single shot in the last 29 Min's of the game.
