What do you mean about made up their minds? Productions been going on for well-over a year.
true but they've been postponding it off and on.
For the love of all that is good, they might as well have post-poned the thing indefinitely.

I don't think if even somehow they got the likes of Spielberg, brought Stanley Kubrick and Kurosawa in back from the dead to work on this film, the inevitability of this impending abomination could be thwarted.

I highly doubt that. It's just like Prince said, it's an abomination unto mankind. Especially the casting, totally ridiculous. :P

Piccolo is not as bad, but I still don't like any of the casting. I totally would have cast Piccolo as a black dude, like maybe Wesley Snipes or something, heh. I mean, they're gonna paint his ass green anyway. Do any of these actors even know marital arts, what the hell?

I think the team that did 300 would do a good job. I mean the stylistic action and all that. Its what dbz is about.

I think Robert Rodriguez would do an amazing job also.

Just watched There Will Be Blood.

Wow. What a great movie. Daniel Day Lewis can have my first born daughter.

There will be blood seems to be a really good movie.

Michael Clayton - It was also a good movie but they messed it up a little bit towards the end when they rushed through a few things.

Day Zero - Decent drama about the drafts. Must be hard to get drafted just like that when you are busy with something else in your life.

Edit: I totally missed that The Happening is coming this summer. Thought it was more then a year away. Saw the trailer and I hope it will be good.
Liked M Nights previous movies, except Lady in the water that is.

Deadpool and Gambit in Wolverine movie.
According to Variety three more cast members have been added to X-Men Origins: Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Taylor (Friday Night Lights) Kitsch as Gambit and hip-hop musician will.i.am as John Wraith

now the real question... are they gonna have a regeneration battle? and will deadpool talk to the audience?

btw, Ryan Renolds is fucking Deadpool. His on screen antics is just comedy gold.

Watched Superbad yesterday, which was hilarious, and now I can't wait for Pineapple Express to come out. The 2 trailers out already look really promising, and I pretty much like every move Seth Rogen is involved in. Plus James Franco doing comedy is something really fresh.

Read in the paper today that they are going to do an actual movie of Akira (The Anime) starring Di Caprio.
Looked it up on imdb and it says nothing about Di Caprio doing such a movie.
Does anyone here know if its true or not?
If it is, which part is Di Caprio going to play then? Kanada?

Kinda acknowledges it. I think Leo will probably play the main character, Kaneda, which will suck. It would be better if he played Tesuo.

Thats why I was saying to my bro Libaax. He keeps saying how horrible cast Ryan is and how unfunny and unfit he is for Deadpool (only seen him for Blade I think), while the little I know of the quirky over the top campy parodic character that is Deadpool, and knowing Ryan Reynolds is EXACTLY like that kind of comedic actor, I cant see a more fitting cast on the first glance.

It says in femto's link that DiCaprio's production company is co-producing, not that he's starring in it

Reynolds is a great fit for Deadpool, right down to the voice. Also, Reynolds is rumoured to be Flash in the JLA movie. Not sure how that'll work now that he's going to be Deadpool. I hope that Deadpool is not the same Deadpool we saw in Ultimate Spider Man. Also, there are two new characters that's added in the Wolverine movie: Beak and Maverick. Beak, I hear you say?

http://blog.newsarama.com/2008/02/21/do ... e-as-beak/

As for Akira, most anime to live-action movies, in my opinion, fails. Some movies fail to replicate the incredibly wacky and zany visuals that only animation can give you, so I'm not having high hopes for it. Although I'm still interested in it and hope that it would be awesome, but methinks the script would be completely rewritten as per Hollywood requirements to the point where the only familiar thing to the anime would be only the name Akira.

I truly hope Wolverine movies dies a horrible death. Hope its the worst comic movie since Daredevil.

I actually thought Reynolds was funny but THAT WAS BEFORE BLADE 3. His horrible type of comedy ruined the movie more than Biel trying to be hardcore.

Deadpool is my favorit character of them all in fricking Marvel. Why do they have to touch the only marvel character i would care what happens to in a movie. ....

This is a bad time to be a superhero comic fan, hollywood cant stop making movies of them and cant stop ruining them ala Daredevil. More Matt got killed by Affleck in mainstream fans eyes. I became comic fan thanks to Spidey,Hellboy movies. Who will ever pick DD after the horrible movie.....
