Istvan isn't hating, he's just making a joke. You know how in the manga the Brand attracts undead at night? Think of it that way and you should get what he's saying.

Just the stigma of it, I'm not sure if I could even get the Brand as a tattoo, let alone on my neck! It is a pretty cool idea for a tattoo though. XD

You know how the pentagramm is stigmata'd as a sign of evil? While in truth it was a sign of protection?

Anyway, Guts still lives although he has the brand for more than 3 years now (IIRC), and since I had mine tattooed nothing bad happened to me too

All I know is that the pentagram (or something similar) was used in Ultima 8 to 'instill' fire spells onto an object. Anything else, meh, don't care.

I'm thinking of getting the brand tattoo this tuesday. I've been debating where to put it and what color it should be. I'm pretty sure red would look best and I want it able to be hidden by a shirt so it will be at the base of my neck, low on the side, or on my left pec.

I'm seriously considering getting a brand tattoo. I'm thinking of getting it on my upper arm because i want it to be covered by a normal tshirt. let me know if you guys have a better idea of placing it.

p.s. not getting one on my chest or neck so don't even mention it
