Right, there are two problems as to why the site has been down.

1) the netblock the server is on is being renegotiated, so there may be more downtime in the future as we transition over to the new netblock

2) the netblock we are on now has been experiencing a DDOS, from who we don't know. Not sure if it is targetting the server or just the netblock, but my graphs indicate that it is effecting us at a rate of 8megabit per second, or basically the server is getting slammed with 1megabyte per second data.

my peoples are looking into it, so please bear with us.

Evil_Genius has been the target of a DoS (Denial of Service) attack. Our current ISP is unwilling to put any more effort in keeping us as clients, so we have moved on. I’ve secured EG refuge in Texas, hopefully they will have a stiffer backbone when dealing with these guys. Yes it has been stressful, and yes it does effect our release date schedule. We where slammed by two IPs, both coming in around 70~80mbit per second. I can only speculate as to why, perhaps Femto made a forum member cry?!

Right, so things have been 'safe' for about a month now. I may migrate EG back home in a few more weeks.

Also, updated forum code from RC3 to RC4. As per usual, post your bugs here. Arke and I will scope things out.
