Rape is a serious issue.

though unless a woman pulls out a dildo or broom handle, if she forces you to have sex with her its not (unless laws have changed in the last several years) considered rape, just sexual assault. imo thats bull shit

Women scare me.
They should. Kipling (a rather famous poet) wrote an entire poem called "The Female of the Species" explaining how females are more dangerous and deadly then males.

Rudyard Kipling.

Badass poem. I suggest you all read it. All things considering it'll educate the young & give a chuckle to the old(er), whom have no doubt already known such notions from experience.

I love Kipling's writings, they describe excatly my vision of the quintessential mechanisms of this plane. And the other. Like, the magical multiplication of koalas bears in Australia, and how Eldo keep the bastards in check by running them over. It's poetry in motion.

We should put Kipling in the FAQS, then noobs would stop asking questions. Everything is answered in Kipling.

Many things, anyway. But I doubt it would help. Based on their posts, many newbies don't bother to read the faq, so no matter how much wisdom it contained, it wouldn't benefit them, and they'd remain ignorant and foolish newbs, making their innane posts.

Ah, got me there! That's kind of embarrassing. I bet it's kind of witty, too. Haha, should be advertised... larger than it may already be.

Oi, haven't read any Kipling! I wonder if that's why I'm still so confused when it comes to feminism or why you'd need to beat down on casual and deluded sexism... I mean, surely, you should be get away with it if you're not trying to write history or something. Are we still talking about this? Haha, fortunately I started this paragraph talking about Kipling! I think I am covered. WHO needs the FAQ!

EDIT: That FAQ was dry as. Kipling needs to be involved.

If you haven't read any Kipling, you ought to. You can start with the handy link given by Starlore, and then move on from there.

Ew, culture trip, everyone?

I read Kiplings novels, most of the obvious at least, when I was a young knowledge craving adolescent, but I never tried the poems. Now that I've given up craving knowledge (I've settled for beer instead) I don't know whether I have the patience to try them.

But that poem is really pretty good.

A little off topic but was moved to post. /\/\/\ was a good poem but this one from edgar allen poe is probably the best poem ever. I used to be an aspiring poet myself and have made many of my own which have been noted in public papers. This is a work of genious.
The raven by edgar allen poe
http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-raven/

a little note on the poem: Edgar made this poem shortly after the death of his wife Lenore. he refers to her in poem many times and probably made this poem while thinking about her late at night. He died 2 years after her death.

The Raven really is a very good poem, but I'm afraid I can't agree it's the best ever. There are a lot of really good ones.

Back on topic fucker! :whip: or start a Starlore's fanboys thread or something.

Poe was great, as was "The Raven". I live too close to Baltimore to not know of him hah. Incidentally, he's a fave of mine, but that's equally in part to the fact that he was a twisted fucker (don't you know? Sideways people are more entertaining. Just look at me :p). Seriously, it's easily possible that his biography would be more interesting than his works lol.

If someone should start the thread, I don't want ZoddsNo1Fan to make it.

Someone oughta put a bell on that guy.

Well there's a thread of his waiting to be trashed in the interstice, or even locked. I wouldn't want him to think that I'm on his back (well I am after all). Or you can stuff a dead racoon in his mailbox, you choose.

I would do both.

Some of his antics are getting a bit old, but I think that a Starlore fanboy thread might be a bit out there even for him.

There's a recent case in Norway where a woman was convicted for raping a man. In this case the man was sleeping and woke up with the woman on top of him.

I don't think I would have gone to the courts if it happened to me though, but I certainly would not have liked it either (unless she was hot.. tehee).

Strange. Having read your post, this suddenly came to mind:
