As a whole I guess you could say so. But to me I think it is overrated. My friends have been gamers for ages and they think it is great, while I think it is not so great. Oh well. *shrugs*

Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, it was pretty fun and had nice art and story. Just over-shadowed by the better Two Towers.

Crimson Skies, i remeber when I was walking around the game store today and it wasn't on the platuim hits. I'm thinking "why the fuck not? Free-roaming flying is sweet". It also had music that had the old World War feel and giant zeplins, your airship base even moved!

Good mentions, another underrated "new" game is Outrun 2. Arcade style racing is sweet.

My friend loves EarthBound, but it is not my cup of tea. Another underrated RPG would have to be......... ummmm... not to many RPGs are underrated because a majority of them are overrated. RPGs for the Saturn like Albert Odyssey and Shining the Holy Ark are the only RPGs that I can think of being underrated.

I disagree, Valkyrie Profile is overrated. That game is going for a lot of money on eBay, no way it is underrated. Hell, almost every RPG on the PSone is overrated. VP is a good game, but there is no way I would put it above FFVI, Chrono Trigger or Vagrant Story.

Honestly, those who say EarthBound is shit deserve to die.
EarthBound is the shit. It's a very special game- very fucked up in a sort of kid-friendly way. I can't wait for EarthBound 2, which is supposedly in development for the GBA.

Seriously, in what other game can you have a cup of coffee with a being whose body mass is 60% nose? Or have your MP restored by butterflies?

Earthbound or Mother 2 is an RPG set in modern times where you play a normal kid that has a comet fall into his back yard. It is a very interesting game, I never got the chance to play it all the way through and unfortunately don't own it. I think it is a great game, I just think that it is not as good as some people make it out to be.

I am sorry Darken, but these games you be posting are just not good enough to be considered underrated. Bloody Roar sucks, all of them. And Rumble Fish, (Even though I wish to own it very much so) is overrated. But then again it is just my opinion.

Oh, do you consider Omega Boost a Rail Shooter or Mech game??

I lean towards Rail Shooter, and there are far better Rail Shooters out there.

One game I think is overrated is Ikaruga... played it and it sucked. One of the worst shooters I've ever played. One shooter that was awesome that no one really talked about so much (well no one talks about shooters much these days anyways) is Einhander.... Best damn shooter ever.
