I dont remember anything about a white hair in which chapter did you see that?
Also Guts have been trough all kind of shit like atleast dussin wars and spirit has chasing him at nights so its pretty natural that he looks worn out and older than he is.

Yeah, stress does make you look older. Anyway, like I’ve already stated elsewhere, I’ll give my full timeline of Gatts’ age in the up coming FAQ. By the way, I know Skull.net all ready has one, but I want to write mine anyway. Besides, they say things like Beherit…they’re weird.

battles leaves inevitable scars in a person
but his aging is more related to psychological reasons than physical

Well, he's certainly ACTING very much the mature experienced guy, lately. Even outside his looks. I mean, hey, he's even holding back. Or maybe he thought he had to befit his white hair with a little dignity, who knows.

I think hes at his last bit of energy and is just trying to get to Elfhelm before he dies. Or maybe he will encounter the hawks again and go berserk, which in theory will make him finally truly wear out.

The white hair is due to the immense physical strain occuring after the first time he used the berserk armor.

Nah, in anime time, he's fully recovered by now. Heh, I bet the next time we see him fight, he's going to tear shit up!

Possibly, or he could or he could wear out and become crippled. From say a very bad injury. Then the only way for him to save his group from the onslaught of the hawks would be to fully imbrace the berserk armor in which he would become like Skullknight........

Possibly, but I still don't see how the armor made Skull Knight what he is today. The only way that'd be possible is if it has more powers that have yet to be revealed...but maybe.
Hopefully that doesn't happen though. I like the fact that Gatts is still a man. Skull Knight has ascended beyond humanity. I'd rather not see that happen with Gatts. It would take away from how impressive he is as just a man.

Yup, basically using the armour somehow doesn't feel quite right for him. It seems like he's getting too much help....
However, I don't think he feels he's weakened. He might actually be weakened, but he'll never admit it. So whatever may be the case with this health he'll be there kicking ass as soon as the shit hits the fan once again.

I thought the burning demon dog represented gambinos dog. Something Gattsu always wanted to be: loved by Gambino! ~

Good observation. Not bad for a first post.

Possible, but still I believe not likely. Gambino's dog would hardly be connected to unconquerable anger and wrath. Yes, Gats wanted to be loved by Gambino, but I believe the demon dog is his own creation. The lean mean point of hate. Look at the symbolism in the way it is drawn, it's all about straight-forward killing, like an arrow-head with teeth that bite inward. No show, no waffle, just the drive for the throat. There is no desire for love of any kind in it, nor respect, nor anything connected remotely to the rest of humanity. Actually I don't even quite believe it's the berserker spirit, at least not purely. A berserker attacks without regard to left and right, but the dog is a fine-tuned point. Miura knows what he is drawing, and he isn't drawing the dog as something that thinks of left or right, but rather as Gats' animal hatred for one thing, the desire for revenge against a single enemy. Naturally it is turned towards many others along the way, but the goal that remains, for Gats and the dog, is Griffith. The dog always urges him to take the straightest route, not to care about anything and anyone in his way or along his path.
And yes this may sound contradictory to the way it urges him to turn his blade to everyone around around him, but it isn't really. Not caring means cutting them down if they stand in the wrong place. During the fight with Grunbeld Gats lets the dog take over for a while, because Grunbeld in his apostle arrogance stands for Griffith, and so do most apostles. Gats of course rationally decides to attack a side-line apostle, and the dog kind of jumps in, since they are undoubtedly the same person. Gats is the human side, the dog the demonic side.
This is also one of my reasons to believe that Idea wants to corrupt Gats, because the dog is shown to be outwardly (not only inwardly) demonic by the fact that Flora's seal works against it. The seal holds Gats back while the dog wants to take over, and that seal was meant to stop apostles from detecting his brand. The demons in berserk all somehow stem from Idea and the evil within humanity, and that is no different with Gats' demonic inner pet. Gats is no saint, after all. But if Idea corrupts him that will almost certainly mean Gats will gain power, and so more apostles will die. Most people tend to think that Idea just wants Gats back in his place in destiny, but I believe for Idea himself, destiny is re-writable at will.
So, while a tempting idea to put the dog in relation to Gambino's dog, I don't think it is meant to be.

Who cares it its a dog or a wolf or a fox ...
it really is a wolf, and if your reading this you have small penis.
On another note, What if without his Berserk Armor Gutts wont be able to use tap into his berserk factor..

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz (Just because this thread is boring)
I don't think Gatts' inner demon has anything to do with Gambino's dog. I mean, what the fuck? How abstract. However, I sure as hell don't think it has anything to do with Idea either. Although that is a lot more plausible than thinking it has anything to do with that stiff Gambino. It's just Gatts' dark side. It is the embodiment of his deepest darkest desires. I really don't understand why we're rambling on about this for so many pages, but whatever *shrugs*

isse-pisse-päron-pung: I still think it is a neat comparison.

You have Gambino's dog, who basically takes the place of Guts now that he is older. Gambino trained Guts like an obediant puppy. I think it is fitting that Guts inner demon is a dog/wolf/whathaveyou. Yes, this is very abstract.

yeh it is boring dude
but you know how to make a thread live again? you make a really dumbfuck hypothesis that sparks up conversation
so gutts inner demon deals with gambino's dog eh? well after the dog died, its spirit slipped thru into an open wound of gutts. yup....

Yes, and Gats really envied Gambino's DOG. So much that he wanted to become one even after Gambino's DEAD.
