You don't see his ban Kai. you see him right before he uses it. You see his initial release though.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you see his full Ban Kai as well. It's done rather unimpressively, so it's easy to miss.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here, but if you're saying that "soar in the frozen sky" is the initial release then I suppose you're right- you never get to see his ban kai in the omake.
