Some days my photos are craptastic, other days I have the midus touch. I don't know why. I even managed some great shots of my Griffith figure.
I don't have time to really sort them out and fix em up right now, but I'm pretty sure this is my favorite. There shall be more to come.
I refuse to resize this a lot, it's impossible not to lose all the detail with that, so here's a link.

This is far superior to my other work, but I put a whole lot more effort into it.

42ndEndOfTheWorld I'm glad to hear you're learning from the tut! :D
Thank you ryusenka, Damien and Sarah!
Femto you are correct. To compare digital drawing/coloring with traditional is indeed ludicrous... Traditional is much harder... IMHO. But then again I've got less experiance with traditional painting.

I don't think that it will turn me gay though.

If I were a guy, that would turn me gay. If I were gay, it would turn me straight :D
That pic rocks. Thanks a lot!

Anyhow, I just happened to be lucky enough today to be not only in a store that sells Berserk figures, but also with money to spend (*gasp*! a miracle.)
So I bought myself a very nice, far superior Guts figure. Pictures will come.

Ogar should post (or link rather) some higher resolution pics of his stuff, just so we can appreciate them better.

And please stop quoting the same image 1000 times.

EDIT: I was looking at how you handled the clouds in the background, really good stuff.

This guy is just really good with lighting and color choices in general.

I could've done without the over-rendered light around Evarella though.

You should get that DC Coloring book I posted a while back if you don't have it already, it'd help you a lot.

The higher-res something is, the easier it is to see imperfections :D

Yea it teaches you some cool stuff about colors and what have you in the begining.

Yeah.

It's a coloring and lettering book, so only the first half is devoted to coloring techniques and whanot.

The lettering stuff is pretty well done though and well worth a read.

We can't share this goodness in the forum itself? Sounds like I may want to read this "Coloring Book".

I haven't had much time to read it. But it teaches you basically the basics of colors and on.

Well, I posted a link to the book's Amazon listing actually, I'd rather have people give money to the people that made it. :D

It's like 13 bucks, so it's a no-brainer purchase.

But yeah, it covers everything from basic color theory to colorholds, filters and even paper stock.

Ogar seems to be aware of a lot of the stuff in the book already, but I'm sure his work could improve even more from checking it out.

I spelt it right :D

Any1 want to see more great photos or am I going overboard?

I need some sort of gallery, cause I can't narrow em down much.

"The higher-res something is, the easier it is to see imperfections :D"
Is the exact reason why i don't post higher res pics.
Thanks for telling me about the book Femto, i might actually buy it!
