Just watched Turn A Gundam after ages ago since I last saw it. While I thought it was one of the maddest shit ever back then, I was disappointed with the actual thing. The story and the Gundam was more glamourous in writing than it was in the anime. I felt like I wasted some time watching it. The crybaby Lt Poe really wanted me to punch her in the face, but I can't because she's a fucking anime character, and even then, I don't punch women.

I had to watch Turn A in fast forward mode. It's not because the pacing was too slow, I didn't really have time to watch it all at once properly. I rightfully can't tell you what I think of the music, because I hated the opening, which I listened to for 5 seconds every time I start it up, and skipped the ending song altogether. This wasn't the right anime for me, as I initially thought when I first watched it. It reminded me of Xenogears when I first watched it, and I had expectations of something along those lines. There was actually no action from the Gundam indicating that it was the harbinger of doom and how awesome it was, it all came from people's mouths. That's one point I didn't like about it, it wasn't too emphasised from its actions.

Turn A was VERY much a mixed bag for me, too.
I'm in the final eps of GTO, which should be considered a classic. I found it less good than anticipated, though, it was too much a teen show to really interest me. Of course, the cliffhanger endings got me, too, so I unfortunately still felt compelled to watch. Overall it was less funny than City Hunter, which I'll compare it to for the sake of its classic-ness

Night Head Genesis, currently at 10. This show is going strong, and is at present offering the classical T2 moral dilemma to the main characters.
Innocent Venus 8, has just taken a major twist.
I've also started Scifi Harry, because Shinsen is usually an indicator for good new (or old) shows. (Old in this case.) Of course, you've got to pick and skip out on crap like Demonbane.
Black Blood Brothers, another new show, offers a new take on classical vampire cliché. It'll hopefully shape up.

Still watching One Piece, and yesterday I saw one of the best episodes of the series in a long while 277-278, very good quality and emotional to the end of the hour double ep.
Just downloaded Dragon Ball GT and I'm downloading Dragon Ball for myself and a friend of mine who hasn't seen them, and I seemed to have missed a few eps of each which still bugs me.

Still watching Night Head Genesis, is not up to 12 I think, but I haven't seen the latest ep yet.
Latest Innocent Venus
And I'm also still watching Sci-fi Harry, now from "Shinnew" subs, who use a french dub as their base, so the subs are rather dodgy, and also the formatting for the subs sucks. It's available up to ep. 15 from them.
Now that show is quite an enigma, because it IS quite interesting, except basically ALL the characters in it are total dorks. Except the cop. At least he gets to open his mouth and say stuff, which most other characters are usually too... well... I don't know what they are, but they usually DON'T get to say what they want to say. They just keep on starting to say something, and then somehow don't get it out. Anybody who is a communication cripple must feel very at home in this show.

Hmm, I didn't get that feeling. The vampires are entirely different. There are more of them. They are an accepted part of society, as long as they are not infectious. Where does that happen in Hellsing? YES it probably rides along the wash of vampire anime, but I found Trinity Blood far more of a Hellsing clone. I can't say I like BBB much as of yet, but there are some scenes which are quite good. I don't like the characters too much, yet, but I'm hoping that will change.

Ping Pong Club? Pumpkin Scissors? Those titles sound daft.
I'm checkin' that Death Note, the manga's gathering speed and the anime looks quite good.
Hellsing Ultimate is impressive. The storyline's more faithful to the manga than the previous show and the level of animation is the best I've seen in the past few years. Oh yeah, lots of blood!
