So you're suggesting that it is somehow indebted to everyone and everything?
I had imagined it was better than that.

I can't believe I forgot about them.
Actually, I can't believe I forgot about Mister Terrific. He's one of my favourite characters. Don't care about Firestorm or the Spectre.
I was thinking along the lines of who has their own title comic.
Spectre host i like alot cause unlike you i have read Gotham Central best batman book in years.
DC talk about minorities getting bigger roles, someone needs to tell them they have good black characters dont screw over them just to add lesbians trying to appeal to some kind of sex fantasy of a geek.....

I recently got into the Ultimate Universe. I've been folowwing Supreme Power and Squadron Supreme from the beginning and when they mixed it in the Ultimate world ( in Ultimate Power) it gave me some interest in reading Ultimate Fantastic Four. I think it's the best marvel serie I've read yet. I love the FF characters and the art in the latest issues are nothing short of amazing. What they've done with the Marvel zombies universe was even better than the Marvel zombies Miniserie.
I read Ultimate Ironman 1 to 5 but can't find any followup issues. Is there only thoses 5 issues ? It was weird to read all this about the blue armor that goes away with soap and Tony not being quite «normal».

Ultimate Universe was interesting before when Millar wrote more comics.
Now its only Ultimates,Hulk vs Wolverine that i find good.

UFF is still good. I've got no interest in USpiderman and UXmen though. Too many issues to catch up and my twin told me Uxmen was way too boring. Ultimates is allright (but I don't like the Ironman suit design) and so far , the first 2 issues of Ultimate Power are great.

Oh snap, the purple pants wearing gigantic Godzilla monster rocks, like everything with this series does.

Anyone read Girls by the Luna Brothers ? I don't know if somebody talked about it before but I just finished catching up to issue 19 and it's amazing. I had seen their Spider Woman serie but this is simply better. It's just a great concept of a story, quite unique.
I'm not a big fan of the drawings but the colors and blurs are great. I read it's gonna end in issue 24 so... I can't wait. If any one has anything to recommend to me that might be similar to that kind of story, please do tell me. The closest I've read is The Last Man, wich is quite good.

I haven't read it, what's the basic story line ?
Do read girls, I think it's similar to the Last man on some points. It involves some man vs women issues just like Y TLM. It's about a small town in wich a mysterious naked girl appear. The hero finds her on the road and brings her back home, as she doesn't speak coherent stuff and she's wounded. Later on we learn that the villagers are stuck inside their town by an unknown force and that the mysterious girl might not be an usual woman ...

I've been reading a ton of comics lately.
Too much to discuss but I will say that Ultimate Fantastic Four is, from what I've read, my second favorite Ultimates title after the Ultimates (obviously).

Anyone here read American Virgin? It's a new title from vertigo. It shows promise....but I think they ripped off Beth from Y the last man into here.
It's basically about a man named Adam who's one of those christians who want to be virgins until they're married. He's one of those "preacher" guys you see on the TV that motivates you to become christian and he always encourages people to take a pledge that states you will stay a virgin till married. What sucks for Adam though, is that his Girlfriend just got killed in Africa, and he's still a virgin.
It's just at about issue 10, but I'm liking it so far.

I read it too. Good stuff. I like how that guy's life take a whole twist into the stuff he preaches against. I hate how he keeps his blind faith alive no matter what. It's annoying that he's telling people they're wrong . But that's the whole point of the book. To confront ideas of present times with religious morals, etc.

And yet, it was a quip that had to be made. I honestly have trouble thinking of something
inherently more homosexual than Mr.

himself.

Midnighter and Apollo are ghey Superheroes, but they still kick alot of arse.
But Jean Paul, he's a fucking pissant.
But fucking Superman is a goddamn faggot.
In other news, I introduced Preacher to Mystic. It was glorious, he said.
