I dont get this, Grand Theft Auto, is the same piece of shit game produced over and over again. Why do people still keep buying it like it's running out of style. Now they're saying gta4 game of the year? Well I say if you want gta4 just get the last ones, it's as easy as that. Oh and that apparently perfect 10/10 rating wouldn't be like that if it was any other title.

I really wish that some company like Rockstar or Square-Enix would create a dummy development company that wasn't linked to them officially and release games to see which people like more, the game or the name on the box.

diablo2 and hellgate: london were both made by Blizzard North. Hellgate was suppose to basically be diablo3, but it sucked.

diablo2 and hellgate: london were both made by Blizzard North. Hellgate was suppose to basically be diablo3, but it sucked.

It was made by a very small part of the team that made up Blizzard North, like 3 developers. Rob Pardo, Rick de Seis and some other guy.

finally figured out how to get dot tags as snake. PLUS SNAKE CAN make people FREEZE!!! just like in mgs2!!!! its sooo tight.

btw ps3 news: Echochrome comes out tomorrow for 9.99. if you ask me, its worth the 10 bucks, espically since there is a level maker!!!!

nice haven't had the chance to play as snake yet though, you can only dream. I'm planning to get on the beta tommarow if you wanna start working on cqc.

fuck that cqc game... some fool kept on shooting me when i was waking other players up and then decided to fucking put porno mags in front of me, so all that happened was me either sleeping or looking at the magzine for straight 10 minutes. Now im a fucking mouse rank, i "get caught in traps alot" now.. fucker, it was suppose to be a cqc game.

next time no items, nothing. you dont need anything to do cqc, just to prevent people from doing stupid stuff like that.

had the greatest Snake game today too after you left. Shit was awesome. finally know what it takes to own people with Snake. I think its funny that some people think they can just use the octocamo anywhere, NO YOU IDIOT!! i can see your shadow and your breath!! HAHAHA. man my team won that game cuz i had Snake name all over my bullets.

i cant wait for MGS4. it push the limits of video gaming and seriously online is such a hard learning curve, but it sooo worth it. Knife slit for the fucking win, Snake is a legendary hero lol.

Ah man, MGS Online sounds like a blast. I wish I would've got a copy with my reservation while they were available, but I procrastinated too long and they probably gave them all away by now. I just got GTA4 last night, and that shit is a lot of fun. I still can't wait to get MGS4, but along with some other games, this should keep me plenty sated till then. Yep, stealing cars has never been so sweet!

I don't think GTA4 deserved all these 10/10 ratings it received. Sure, it's a good game, but it's not THAT good. Gameplay is basically the same rehashed GTA gameplay with a more realistic and mature storyline, some clunky melee thrown in and cars that are hard to handle well thanks to the extremely loose camera. The graphics are pretty poor, with a pretty low framerate and some occasional slowdown, but I can forgive that. Don't get me wrong, I'd give it a 9/10 so far, but it's not the second coming of Christ as IGN would have us believe.

Tried out the multiplayer this weekend eventually. And it is a blast to play. When I played my first mission of Cops 'n Crooks, I was with the Boss in a car, and a Cop car was chasing us through the city. The boss drove through some narrow allyways with our damaged car and finally made a sharp utorn allowing me to snipe out the driver of the cop car, which then crashed. After that we drove to the beach where the getaway point was supposed to be. But another copcar turned up, guns blazing. When we arrived at the point, lo and behold, a chopper with 2 crooks on it landed right in front of us, we just got on and got away from the cops to safety.

That scene with the helicopter was awesome. Just like a hollywood movie

Oh and I gotta say that gta4 is actually pretty good, the main character's not a prick, and the story is actually fair descent.

you actually have to turn on your PS3 to play online... i never see you online playing your ps3...

Sure will do. With GTA4 I also finally got myself a spanky new bluetooth headset for the chitchat

But as halfnhalf said you're almost never online, and when you are, you just come online, and sign out seconds later.

I finally got a chance to play MGO and I was having the same problem. After a couple of hours of play I finally quit when I realized I spent most of that time logging in after being kicked out by the server.

Regardless, it was a lot of fun. The gameplay feels a lot like the MGO that came with MGS3:Subsistence, only more polished with a lot of new moves to try. Maybe I'll get another chance to play before the 11th, but now that I played it I don't mind waiting until the game comes out.

Funny how they forgot to mention the game lock-up and multiplayer drop-out issues that the PS3 version has.

Yeah, that's a good point Maddog. I haven't had much trouble with it, but I've had a slight bit of lockup here and there. Nothing to freak over though, thankfully. What's up with those screens though? I've played the game on both systems, and the 360 version doesn't look anywhere near that bad. I looked at the site for a second, and saw those screens, and wrote it off as a joke or something, geez.
