Also, whoever said the X-Men movies were well casted needs to have their heads checked. Hugh Jackman does a pretty accurate Wolverine as do a couple other actors (Kelsey Grammer), but the X-Men movies have some of the worst comic book --> movie character fuck-ups ever. Iceman is such a waste of character compared to the comic book version and let's not even mention Juggernaut. To be fair, most of that stuff is the script's fault more than the actors but still.

I liked Halle Berry as Storm though. Madrox, while brief, was pretty cool. I loved seeing the comic characters in the movie, whether they were obscure or not, it was a delight to see them out there. I have always thought Patrick Stewart would make a great Xavier before the movie came out and to my surprise he was picked for the role.

The comic book Storm is much more "exotic" and imposing than Halle Berry will ever be.

She's not bad for the role, but she's not terribly good either.

i will never like Halle Berry as storm. just doesn't fit the part in my opinion.

Iceman at least got to use his powers. An origianal x-men like Angel was just acting like emo kid and Colossus had one line and didnt even use his amazing powers even once....



They gave lame characters like Spike boy and Archlight more airtime than Colossus what the f******!!!!

Well, Colosus did turn into his armoured form and beat the crap out of the other mutants, I thought his screen time was adequate enough for me. I'm not a big fan of the character so I don't really care much about him. I thought Iceman and Kitty had too much screen time, and I thought the movie was too short for me. Another half hour or an hour would have been more enjoyable. I didn't really like Cyclops so there was no loss there for me, a bit abrupt and unexpected I have to admit. I was hoping that Gambit would show up or at least have some chick play the White Queen. I was half expecting the story in the third series to talk about the Hellfire Club. This movie was more action orientated than story driven, and it did serve its purpose well.

Yeah, the Storm in the comics is more exotic, but I think casting Halle Berry was a good decision overall though, usually I would be all 'zomg storm isn't like that in teh comix' but she was pleasing to the eye. Hugh Jackman is too tall to be Wolverine but he plays the character well. Not much growls this time around as he eviscerates his opponents. But, the Juggernaut, bitch. Best line in the movie.

After reading some X-Factor, I have a fanboy dream that they will make a Madrox movie. It's never going to happen, but he's just so damned cool, at least Peter David made him pretty interesting.

Finaly someone who shares my fanboy dream about an Madrox movie

PD makes Madrox so interesting that he is by far my fav X-character now going pass Wolverine who was my fav in the comics.

I just love his character ala "When you can do anything whats the point of doing anything at all" mind of his.


People talked about Madrox like he was the best thing ever when they mention X-Factor now i understand them. Which makes X-Factor the comic i enjoy most right now.

Didnt like the story, went too far away from the other movies. Action and special effects were good though, so it gets a good grade from me since I love action.

This movie chocked me cause it was really really good. Soo much better than i expected.

It had a depth you dont normaly see in action movie and spy movies.


The idea of JJ Abrams the creator of Felecity and Alias who brought drama to the series didnt make wanna see the movie exactly. But now i see that he made the Ethan Hunt character much more real than ever when he choose to show his "normal" life.

What i liked most was that the movie was most about the teamwork and spy stuff just like the classic tv show. I liked those scenes most even it there were some good action scenes like the one in the bridge.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was perfect as the bad guy and Cruise was actually at his best actually acting like a spy for the first time in the serie.


The movie was almost perfect it could only have been better if they had used the classic music more often.

9/10 almost perfect spy movie.


If JJ Abrams does MI4 i will look forward to it. I didnt like Alias or any other show he has done alot but now i see his skill.

I heard about this after I saw the movie. I can't stand when movies do this bullshit. It's a cheap marketing ploy to get asses in seats to see what they missed. If it's integral to the story, INCLUDE IT IN THE MOVIE.

It ain't exactly worth a groundbreaking scene...just basically Xavier shifting his consciousness to another body (the same coma-ridden body that Moira was taking care of in the tape that Xavier showed to his students discussing the ethics of shifting consciousness to somebody else's body) and Xavier said 'hello Moira'. A surprised replied shakingly, 'Charles...?'

Not exactly worth waiting for the credits to see, but yeah, I was in the company of friends so we just discussed about the flaws and the weak and strong points of the movie and how much different it was from the comic book.

I heard that he might actually be onslaught now.

Beyonce as Storm, defintely.

Beyonce would not work as Storm.

Any who, I just saw X3 and I thought it was pretty tight. I am a fan of the comic book, but definitely not as hard core as most of you guys.

Finally watched the fantastic four movie i'd give it a 7.5/10 because I think it could have used more action.

Haha if Beyonce were Storm i wouldn't see the movie.

Atleast Halle Barry can act.



About the scene after the credits i went with my siblings and most of them was so annoyed how bad the movie was so we left quickly.

Fact of the matter is, comic books just don't translate well to live action, you simply lose too much in the process.

That's why not one of the film renditions of Batman can even compare to Batman: The Animated Series. Or the X-Men movies to the X-Men series. Same with Superman and Spider-man. Animation is simply closer to comic books than live action will ever be and that's how comic book movies should be handled.

Sin City did a fairly good job at it, but an animated feature in Frank Miller's style is nothing short of drool worthy.

Comic books are their own worlds, live action is just people pretending.

Actually Batman Begins are closer to Batman comics than the animations are.

Cause the animated Batman is more like to post crisis campy Batman that is lame compared to todays Batman.


Batman Begins are really dark which the animations arent.

Yea, Batman Begins is an example of how comic book to movie transformations should be done.

Stop taking everything as such a personal attack. It's one thing to be the guy who argues his point, it's another to act like you're being constantly attacked by everyone here. You hate the actors, so I asked who you thought should be in the role. You obviously liked some actors ("Hugh Jackman does a pretty accurate Wolverine as do a couple other actors (Kelsey Grammer)"). I'm just asking who you thought was horrible and who you think could better play them.
