Meh, gave up on that a while ago. Just as redeys has given up his red eyes.

I am gonna be rotating some of the Advanced wars COs for an ava. I tried my best to do a good job on Sami here with cutting out the background but it is pretty damn difficult. I tried Daedelus' method and I got squat. Any who, opinions?

nice ava, might even be better if you make the background completely transparent instead of white

Probably is because You use Png files. I know there's a way to put transparent things in png but I've had problems with transparency on this format. I also see a color all around your av's character. You should try a .gif instead of a .png.

GIF is horrible. I've never had any problems with PNG in FireFox.

Hell, maybe I'll copy you, except I'd have Lone Wolf and Cub and Zatoichi, just to be a little differant.

IE6 doesn't display transparency for PNG correctly. Firefox and Opera do. That's why some of you are seeing a white background on some sigs.

well, go ahead, whatever pleases you... LWAC alone is not a bad idea. note that the link in my set is also Toshiro Mifune, starring in both movies

besides his well known movies, also try to watch The Hidden Fortress. It is one of the earlier works that inspired Lucas for Star Wars.

Oh and I forgot, Ayanami, Sami looks fine on this end. The strap is a bit pixelated but that's the problem you face with my method since that strap is small in the first place.

The strap gave me a ton of trouble you could barely even see it, so I tried to darken it. It looked a lot better when I was working on it. But the color of the forum did something funky to it seems. I am not a photoshop master, I thought I did a decent enough job though.

OK, final product here. I redrew the strap since it had no texture to it and was just black. Re-drew a few parts toward the muzzle and sight of the gun, used the clone tool to texture that back in. Hopefully this works for you.

Hmmmmm, I will save it to my comp but I will not use it. By all means Daedelus, your's is better than mine. But I put a lot of work into mine god damn it and I want to keep it for a while. You have to show me some of your tricks to quickly chopping off the jaggies and what not. I am sure doing the strap was easy, but I would just like to see how you went about the whole process when I am at your house some time.
