Yeah, I liked the new Star Wars movie, but I agree the fight scenes could've been done better.

I saw a trailer for Unleashed the new Jet Li movie and it is so great seeing Jet Li in a Jet Li movie where he kicks ass without flying and stuff like in Hero.

Just got back from seeing Batman Begins and it didn't meet my expectations. Reasons:
Tank-mobile.
Lame and under-developed villains.
Bale's Batman voice.
Batman suit, in particular the circular-like mask.
Much too bright for a Batman movie.
Weak depiction of Gotham city.
Batman was NOT the world's greatest detective like he's supposed to be, just some dude that likes to beat other people up.
First half of the movie jumping back and forth between Wayne's life without any hints for the audience = Bad storytelling.
Those are a few off the top of my heads. I have to stop getting hyped about these movies, they always disappoint me. The first Batman still > all the other Batmans.

Its too bad you didnt enjoy the movie too well. but i only agree with your last thing First batman> all the other batmans (i still got the 1st one on VHS)
To me, what made this movie stand out then the other batmans was the movie really forcing the idea that it is possible for a dedicated human to become the dark knight.

ya they could have developed the bad-guys more, and part of detective work is beating information out of people. i liked his batman voice. i thought that, though the batmobile did look wierd, that it was still pretty cool. i didnt like how you had to lay down to use the missles though. that was pretty pointless. anyone see mr and mrs smith. i thought it was pretty good, though not as good as batman.

Then you are on drugs that you can't get anywhere on this planet. Batman Returns is the best for two reasons: it had a paddle duck and snow.

Penguins with rockets strapped to their backs.
'Nuff said.

That's the best part about Batman Returns, the freaking penguins. Loved the SNES game as well.
You know what's the worst comic book conversion to film is? The Phantom. That was trash.
Haven't seen Batman, but I read a review where the film 'lacks good humour' and 'it's too dark'. They were comparing it to Adam West as well. I was laughing my arse off. But Bale is the best Bruce Wayne and Batman ever.

what didnt you like about it. the only real problem i had with it was that the enemies must have never played any shoot em' up game ever. you NEVER aim rocket launchers at the people.

To me Batman Begins is the best comic film next to Road to Perdition.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith.... no thanks.
