100 Bullets is just too damn good.
Hehe, I seem to recall that from somewhere, I read up to issue 61, is it before or after that? Any other comic this line would stand out so much, but 100 Bullets have so many cool oneliners(and ridicolously amount of cool characters), that they just blend in and are said so naturally.

That best volume so far, we got to see more Minutemen, trust origin and such a cool noir story.
I'm only up to vol. 7 but damn, this series keeps getting better and better.
The last time thing I read/saw something that constantly topped itself like that was the Berserk TV series.

Lucky you that you have the best vol so far aka vol 8 next to read.
100 Bullets is the best comic out there right now.
It just keeps getting better.

Just read 100 Bullets vol. 8.
Holy mother of fucking god, this book is amazing.
I've got vol. 9 ready to go and after that, it's waiting until December for vol. 10.
Fuck!
PS: I hope it only lasts 100 issues.
The book is amazing, but I don't want it to drag on for too long.

I dont mind it being 100 issues just as long as they ended well. The same could be said if it was 200 issues.
Still i will miss Graves and his fellow minutemen.

Bruce Jones is the worst writer I've read for Nightwing. And honestly, I don't like his Batman work either, nor his OMAC mini-series. I did read Deadman though which he was writer, it above average stuff. I'm not too sure why they keep him around. Good news for Nightwing fans is that he will be leaving after issue 124. Good riddance.
Wolverine Origins is terrible. Daniel Way should be shot. But since each issue released is within top 10 of sales, there's no way he's being relieved after this story arc. Then again, anything that claims to tell the origin of Wolverine will sell like hotcakes. After 5 issues, I have no idea what's going on or what it has to do with his origin whatsoever. So he has a son. Big deal. Nice Marvel, truly the house of ideas. Why the hell would he use a sword when his claws cut anything?
Garth Ennis' Punisher v3 and v4 has the best black comedy ever. I've lost count of how much I've laughed throughout the book. Loved how he owned Wolverine, Spiderman and Daredevil. I especially loved how he written Wolverine. Because for someone who claims he's the best at what he does, he doesn't do a good job at it.

Bruce Jones is horrible, i hate him so much. Cause Nightwing is one of my obsolute fav heroes after Batman,Punisher.
This quack destroyed it, lucky for us the creator of the original Nightwing series is gonna write NW now.
I am gonna dump Wolverine Origins now. A sword that kills a mutant that not even the power of sun can kill?? Give me a break. He turned the cool character of Wolverine to a soap, "Oh no my son hates me!!!"......
Thats why Gart Ennis is my fav writer, His Punisher is genius, V4 was crazy funny, i loved his wolverine

I think you should read 'The Boys' by Garth Ennis, it's a new comic he's writing for WildStorm. It looks really promising.
I am also enjoying Ion. I'm a big Kyle Rayner fan. I started reading Green Lantern during the Parallax run, so I don't have any attachment with Hal Jordan. I'm not too used to seeing Hal in the current GL title, and I think the retcon with Parallax is fucking stupid. It's great to see someone who recieved the power ring by absolute chance to be one of the most powerful being in the DC universe. Kyle looked like such a wimp in Rebirth, and I think Ion redeems him. The whole Nero impersonating Ion is bullshit, but my fanboy logic ignores that.
I had so much high hopes for the Flash. Bart Allen is one of my favourite characters in DC. They gave the title to has-been TV writers of the original Flash TV series. The pacing in the comic is well suited on screen than in a book, it doesn't feel right at all. After issue 2, I'm not too sure if this is the Bart Allen or the next Flash to fill Wally West's shoes. Let Geoff Johns handle this, the TV writers can screw off and stop trying to ruin Bart Allen.

Quick question - I'm searching for scans of "PvP", a comic that has a online version (
http://www.pvponline.com), that I just love.
You know where can I get this kind of scan?

CW #4 was delayed for like a month.
McNiven couldn't keep up with the schedule and he didn't get a lot of lead time going into the series either.
If you want to know what happens in Civil War, just buy the main series and maybe a couple tie-ins from other titles. Don't be like those retards that buy every single fucking Civil War book with characters they don't give a shit about just to have "everything."
Oh yeah, I picked up a random issue of CW:Frontline and it sucked balls.

I did pick up a couple of CW issues but stopped buying them of two reasons.
I dont like big events and this one is too predictable.
Atleast IC did something for DC and had some deaths and plots.
There are too many good comics out there for me to waste cash on CW.
The marvel comics i enjoy arent affected by CW much. Punisher,DD,Hulk,X-Factor,Runaways etc

How you can say both of these things before the series is even halfway through is beyond me.
Tell me what's going to happen in the next few issues right now and we'll check back when they're released to see how "predictable" they really are.
The Spider-Man thing alone came completely out of the blue.
PS: Civil War is a pretty interesting concept but yeah, fuck these huge crossovers.

Well when i say CW i mean the tie ins too.
I have read many tie ins,CW,Frontlines etc
I dont like how the story is going, the spiderman thing was beyond stupid, hero team vs hero team in CW 3 was the last drop.
It just confirmed my hate for big events.
The idea of hero vs hero has always bored me.
When there are series like 100 Bullets,Fables,Punisher,Hulk, the last man etc i dont need a big event.
I read the scans only cause i plan to start buying wolverine etc after CW.
One thing good with CW, is that Iron Fist series is coming out of it.

The whole CW tie ins are bullshit. I hate them all, especially the X-Men one. Did you know that Punisher is going to have a CW title? I mean come on, it's fucking Punisher, what would they want to raid his warehouses for? Luckily, the MAX series of the Punisher aren't affected. Frankly, all the CW tie ins books are really shit, besides the actual CW issues. I don't think they're great, but they're better than most of the current Marvel titles out there.
They are focusing on the heroes battles so much that the villians seem to be relatively forgotten. Besides hunting Nitro, most of the other villians seem to be in hiding or laughing at how stupid the heroes are for fighting each other. I would like to see how the villian community are right now in the midst of the Civil War.
But frankly, I don't see why New Warriors' fuckup is a valid reason to start this registration crap. I guess people in the higher ups always wanted some sort of registration for superpowers, and used this as an excuse, twisting and manipulating the truths to their side to make the registration act believable. Now the government has their own team of super soldiers. The next world war will be a genetic one, it seems.

Punisher CW series i will check out just to see how it is.
I know it cant be as good Max Punisher.

the punisher CW series will take place in an alternate timeline where punisher is registered and hunts down other heros/vilains.
i am mixed about that.

Anything outside Max is alterntive reality for Punisher.
He doesnt belong in MU anymore.
The art looks very crappy and if they make him not kill z-list villains, more reason to hate big events.

I don't think it's a 'alternate timeline', it's set in the same timeline as the current Civil War. I read somewhere in newsarama forums about SHIELD raiding Frank's warehouses and stuff like that, and try to convince Frank to join their side or something. Can't find the thread right now...But War Journal's the tie in to Civil War and is slated for release some time in November. The alternate timeline sounds like a 'What If' book.
The website for Marvel absolutely fucking sucks. It's a steaming pile of crap.
EDIT:
http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/ ... gi?id=7739
It's basically what Frank is going to do while the heroes are fighting each other...he's going to be there to clean up.

It is a diffrent timeline since what he does in his "real" world Max Universe doesnt happen in MU.
I wished they would leave him alone like they did with Hulk.
Let Ennis write new stories and minies instead making Punisher rep worse by making a z-list villains hunter.
Have you read the Slavers story?
Thats true Punisher story, not the ones he interact with villains and heroes.

i forgotten where i read it from. i remember reading that the new war journal will take place in a different place than the current series. both will not be related to each other.
does this mean that the current series is the "alternate reality" instead?
one of them has to be "fake".
